Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with a 2005 HD Ultraglide?

No, it won't fit in a 2005 Ultra glide.

Is this compatible with a 2010 flhx streetglide?

Sorry, it won't work; you'll need part 2310 instead. 213

What effect does it have on passenger buffeting?

I'm not aware that passengers are subjected to the same level of buffeting as the driver. My wife is the same height as me and sits in the same position as me. My brow exceeds the shield's height. She's never mentioned being tossed around. Make her wear a full-face helmet with a shield if you want her to be completely unaware.

Is it going to fit in a 2021 ultra limited?

If you have the Electra Glide Ultra Limited model, rather than the Road Glide version of the same bike, then yes.

I didn't expect you to be as tall as you are
4/5

I placed an order for a size 6. On my 18 FLHXS, I needed a 5" replacement windshield. I'm a little over 6 feet tall. When riding stock bikes, I always seem to get smacked in the face. Windshield arrived in a timely manner and was extremely well packaged. It took me longer to unpack it than to put it together. It appeared to be a little tall at first. Wow, I pulled out my tape. The distance between the center hole and the top of the shield was a whopping eight inches, which surprised me. 5”. I assumed it was a mistake, so they gave me an 8. By accident, I rounded up to 5" So I did some research and double-checked the box (which said 6) a few times. It has a 5 inch diameter. It turns out they're taking measurements for the 6. The distance between the top of the dash and the top of the shield is 5 inches. I'm not sure why they don't just measure the shield itself. If you go to their website, you'll notice that they show 7" straight up with a tape measure, and so on. If you go to their website, you'll see what I mean. It doesn't make any sense. Anyway, I was still undecided as I sat on my bike in the garage. However, the bottom line is. . . I was very pleased with it after taking it for a test drive. It turns out that it's probably (almost) the ideal height. They might have been able to shave off a half-inch to a quarter-inch. 1" and "I might" would have been better choices, but it's fine as it is. This is fantastic! Even though it was extremely windy when I took it out, it improved the bike's handling. I also noticed that I was able to hear the music better.

Installing it was a breeze
5/5

It's simple to set up and enhances the ride quality. You can hear the radio better and head buffering is reduced. I'm 511, and I have a good view of the road ahead of me. A few photos have been included.

In my review, I fixed a 1/8 inch gap to the left of the center bolt
5/5

I'm five years old and own a 2018 Harley SGS. I chose the number six instead of the number eight. I initially installed it and noticed a gap on the left and right sides, so I went back to the instructions and saw that it said to start with the outside bolts first and hand tighten each equally, but there was still an issue. It wasn't until I applied a little pressure on the edge of the shield buckling it a little while using my are to apply pressure on the trim and tighten left to right that I was able to eliminate both gaps. It's a little tricky, but the windshield fits perfectly; as for the riding, I'm not sure why I didn't get it sooner; it's like riding a different bike; no more helmet buffeting, and I can hear my stock radio crystal clear now. br>br>For quality, I give it 5 stars. I didn't want to go with a $30 alternative that isn't even close to the stock one in terms of safety and quality. Klock Werks should update their instructions with some troubleshooting incase people run into the same issue as me I didn't think a gap of about 1/8th of an inch was normal yes it's tricky but don't give up I went back and started over and followed the instructions to the key still had a gap I went back and started over and followed the instructions to the key still had a gap keep bolts loose hand tighten equal apply a little buckle pressure at each end to give it a bow curve.

There will be no more bobble heads in the future! The windshield was very simple to install
5/5

Plus, if you're unsure how to put it on, the instructions are extremely helpful. You can also getklocked by going online. For more information, go to www. com So, I just got my Klock Werks 6 shipment. I purchased a 5 inch shield today, installed it, and then took it for a short test ride on my 2017 HD Street Glide; I chose this size after watching the Klock Werks YouTube videos to see their Recommended Measurement Test to determine what size would be best for me. I strongly advise you to take measurements before purchasing. My short test ride down the street became a 50-mile journey through backroads and highways. I noticed that when I closed the fairing's front air vent, a small amount of air swirled around my face. Nothing major has happened. When the vent was open, however, there was almost no wind, and I may have driven past 65 mph on the highway just to see how it worked. I'm not sure why, so I'll have to do some more testing. Overall, the ride was far superior to that of my stock windshield. And this 6'3 guy has yet to encounter a bobble head. I know I still have a lot more riding to do to really put it to the test, but I'm loving the difference so far. I hope this has been of assistance.

Amazing attention to detail
5/5

Installed on a 2019 Streetglide Special, and it looks fantastic! I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can give it a try! It works well with a taller seat, such as a two-person chair. I’m 6- With the stock seat, it's 1" too tall for me. However, it looks fantastic with a taller seat.

klockwerks for the 2020 Street Glide 6
5/5

Dark Smoke 5" windshield Windshield is 5" dark smoke. It's 2. The windshield is 75" taller than stock and has the same tint color as the stock windshield. My height and weight are 6'6" and 6'6" respectively. I can fit behind a 5" windshield. I can see fine through it, and I've included some photos of the stock windshield from my 2020 Street Glide, as well as the Klockwerks windshield, which was very simple to install. 5" above the speedo and tachometer on the dashboard.

A huge step forward! I despised the wind buffering on my 2020 Street Glide after purchasing it
5/5

After speaking with other riders and reading/watching a variety of reviews, I decided to purchase the Klock Werks windshield. I couldn't make up my mind between the 6 and the 5. 5" or 8" in length I decided on the 6 because the 5" was too small for me. 5”. I am 6'1" tall and wish I had received a 7. There is no option for a 5" windshield. After installation, I can say that the reduction in wind buffering, even at speeds of up to 80 mph, has exceeded my expectations. My wife had no complaints, even though she was in the back. I am pleased with the performance and simplicity of the installation, which took only 5 minutes. This is something I'd buy again.

This is the real deal! I went ahead and bought the 6
5/5

On the 1st of May, I received a 5 flare and I absolutely adore it. It's rated a 6 on the scale. I'd say it's a 5 or 8, but I think it's closer to 8. I drive between 60 and 70 miles per hour on the highway. Wind buffeting is now minimal for both myself and my passenger at speeds of up to 80 mph on a regular basis. It was extremely simple to set up and arrived in excellent condition. I bought a cheap (under $30) windshield on Amazon that was better than stock, but not nearly as good as this one. I have no complaints and am now a life-long Klock Werks fan; yes, the price is higher than others, but it only hurts once and then you're good to go for the rest of your bike's life.
