Is this electrical grease conductive or non-conductive?

I haven't taken any measurements of conductivity. However, I apply to connectors before joining them; the circuit then clicks together. In terms of conductivity, I believe it to be neutral. The current is passed through the physical connection. This stuff simply keeps the connection from oxidizing and absorbing moisture.

What are your plans for this?

It all depends on how you intend to use it. Rubber gaskets and o-rings can both benefit from it. A lubrication ring is a ring that is used to keep things running smoothly. Alternatively, it can be used to reduce moisture, oxidation, and heat buildup on terminals.

Is it possible to use this in an ignition switch for an automobile?

That's what I believe. It can be used on any type of electrical contact or connector.

Ford recommends this product for any electrical connection in a vehicle

This is the dielectric that Ford recommends for any electrical connection that requires a flowable dielectric grease rather than the traditional paste dielectric. It will flow into sockets and provide better coverage than smearing dielectric paste on the connection and hoping for the best. If you work on automobiles, this book is a must-have.

On my Mazda Tribute, I fixed the air bag light

If your air-conditioning system is not working properly, If your Mazda Tribute or Ford Escape's bag light comes on, you'll most likely need a tube of this. The air bag light will flash a certain number of times to indicate whether you need to fiddle with the right or left side (google your specific model to see how many flashes there are). br>br>Once you've determined which side needs a squirt of this, disconnect the negative battery cable and set it aside for 45 minutes. That way, the air bag is less likely to deploy while you're fiddling with the plugs. br>br>There's an air bag plug under each front seat. Un- Plug the plug in question, use needle nose pliers to gently twist each male prong, apply a small amount of this grease to the connectors, and plug it back in. Reconnect the battery cable and cross your fingers that you'll be free of your air-conditioning problem in no time. Conundrum with the bag light.

After cleaning electrical contacts, this is an excellent way to ensure that they stay in good working order. Dielectric grease is not the same thing. Quite the opposite is true.

Electric lubricant in a convenient tube! I keep a tube of this stuff in both my tool chest and my mobile call-out tool box at all times

When it comes to electrical connections, it's a dream come true. The only issue is that once the tube is opened, the cap does not stay on. By wrapping the nozzle in black electrical tape, I was able to fix the problem. The hat is now permanently attached to my head.
