I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. In my Road King primary, I'm utilizing it. Instead of synthetic, my mechanic advised me to use this.
Yes, I did it, and it worked perfectly. I'm using Bel- There's a ray in each of the three holes.
I believe it is the same as 20/50, but don't take my word for it. It looks like cranberry juice and has a reddish-clear color.

The primary shoe, chain, and clutch are all greatly reduced in wear. I've been using only Bell Ray primary and 85-year-old Bell Ray secondary. Since the 1970s, there has been a 140 transmission oil. There have never been any problems with primary or transmission gear wear.
Ray, a company based in the United States, produces excellent goods. This oil, I've noticed, makes clutch engagement and disengagement go more smoothly. The Harley hydraulic clutch makes clutch operation feel more positive.
It worked fine until I changed the cams, at which point the clutch began to slip in the higher torque range. I switched to this product, and it's now working perfectly for me. There will be no more slips. It's the third time I've purchased it. It's all good.
This, in combination with the best transmission oil on the market, makes for a winning combination. That spectro nonsense is way better. This is what you need if you want to get rid of the clunk or significantly reduce it.
It significantly reduces the primary's volume. If you don't mind the extra noise, don't use the HD oil.
