I only do this service once a year because I don't have enough time to do it, and it saves you at least $200 by not having to take it to the dealer for something you can easily do yourself. I used some clear surgical tubing to slip over the end of a squirt lid from a bottle of gear oil I had in the shop to get the oil into the front and rear axles. The polaris bottles are compatible with the lip. I squirt it from the polaris bottle into the ranger's gear boxes via the tubing. I was able to avoid purchasing a hand pump as a result of your assistance. You can also do the same thing by squirting new oil into the gear box fill plugs with a large marinade injector.
I worked on my 2017 Ranger XP 1000 for a few hours. Everything I needed was on hand. I have enough front differential fluid to change it three times because the plugs were pre-gapped. I'll probably just buy this kit once a year for $150 and change all of the fluids on a yearly basis.
It's reassuring to know that, regardless of cost, I used genuine Polaris parts, and that the maintenance is so infrequent that it's worth it.
It comes with everything you need to spice up your utv, making finding everything separately a lot easier.
