Mom stole it for her cycling group, so that I hadn't even had a chance to use it. Originally, I bought this for my motorcycle, but never even got to use it. The first mount that finally fits well and is rock solid is the one we finally found after weeks of searching. If I had the option, I would rate it 6 stars!.
A couple of issues it has are that it doesn't have a mount for your phone and the power adapter that came with it just kind of lies around on the ground. Based on someone else purchasing it for use with the Peloton, I got this mount. You can attach it to any round tube surface (less than 2 minutes) and it is easy to install. Here is how it looks when I put my Phone in it, and when finished, I can make use of it to hold the Power Adapter safely away from the cats and dogs!.
In a nutshell This was mounted on the front light bar of my quad so I can use my Samsung Galaxy S8+ for riding the trails and my GPS for gaming. I made the video to provide the viewer with an idea of the terrain we have travelled It didn't matter that there were rocks, roots, ruts, and my phone was still in its Due to their size, the corner tab holders would not stretch to fit over my phone or Otter case, so I use the two side holders, which are excellent. Excellent purchase. I am very happy with it.
One drawback of this product is that it is very functional. With my iPhone 7s, the rubber bands around the corners that are supposed to secure the phone are pretty useless. It took me a while to get them on since I had to remove my hard protective cover. It is still easy for them to slip off the corners after that. Even with the hard cover on, I have found that the two spring loaded bars on the sides do a fine job of securing the phone. My phone has never been stolen despite it being secured with them on my bike for miles. A Harley shakes quite a bit at idle, as everyone knows. I have not had any problems with security on the phone. It might be a good idea for the manufacturer to put a small shelf at the bottom for extra security. In spite of this, the arm can be mounted easily and can move into many.
It performed pretty well on my maiden voyage today during a 20 mile trail ride, and the only small complaint I have is stretching the rubber connectors over the edges of my iPhone 7+, which is I think it would be better if there were extra rubber pieces to accommodate varying phone sizes. The rubber pieces are the most likely to fail over time based on the amount of stretching I have to do. So, fingers crossed that this stays strong over time, and hopefully I won't have to replace them. Luckily, two extra rubber pieces came with the kit in case of bad weather. so, I am pretty happy with my first order and plan on getting two more for my family members will be riding with me. The rubber pieces on their phones are smaller, so they shouldn't pose any problems.
I have tried them and they are awful. I just bought it and am using it now. It works really well. This is a very sturdy product. Being forced to put my phone in a back pocket or on the cart only to have it fall through and end up on the ground is irritating.
The first time we used this, it was awesome. The price was very affordable, and I was able to use it for trips throughout the city and to commute. The clamp that holds the whole thing to the bike, however, began to slip after only a week of use. There is a problem, now, when I tighten the knob, it tightens and then free spins and loosens again. It is obvious that the threads on that item have already been stripped. Exactly one week after we started! It's definitely not a good idea to take a mountain bike). This week's update They have been emailing me since I wrote this review, telling me to delete it, then they'll do this or do that, but first they want me to delete it. This company is a piece of trash, don't purchase.
To follow my route on the map app on my phone, I needed something to hold my phone so I could hold it up for myself. It was in a good position to mount my phone on my vertical rail (for pulling yourself up into the cab). Exactly what I was looking for. Getting this case, I got it because it has those rubber things that make sure the phone will not The fact that my phone doesn't bounce all around is important to me because my truck can dislocate vertebrae when it hits railroad tracks. have been using the small rubber things (I have an iPhone 7+) for quite some time now. My motivation to continue petered out after I became lazy. It was a relief to see that, even without the little rubber loops, the phone never once fell out! My other fellow driver saw how I used it and went out to buy the same one. I am in love with this!.
