It includes a variety of brass fittings with various thread patterns that can be used to fit almost any application.
When you're in fifth grade, you'll know what I'm talking about.
This shifter comes in a variety of sizes to fit all types of fittings, and I have the multi-color one.
They're made of plastic and don't work well. They must be forced on before the knob can be screwed on. To be honest, I don't think it's worth the money.

but. I'm not sure why the previous reviewer expressed concern about the product's quality. Mine appears to be flawlessly machined and finished, with an exact weight of 160g (information the seller/manufacturer should have provided!). ), and the metal (aluminum, perhaps?). The (inserts) are thin and well-fitting. Great product at a fair price; I don't see why you should pay more for a name brand unless you want to gain even more weight. br>br>Edited in June 2017: One star is being deducted after a year and a half. Recently, the "gun-control" movement has gained traction. The top layer of black has worn away to reveal chrome, and the chrome plating has now worn away in a nickel-like pattern. sized area where copper can shine through I'm not bothered at all: It appears to be a well-kept secret. I'm no longer on sick shift, but I'm sure others are. So, if you're looking for a watch that will last forever, this isn't it. br>Edited in September 2017; The chrome has worn off quite a bit after almost two years of use- irregular shape with a diameter of 5 inches- A matte copper finish is left behind. I didn't use the Ball in the way it was meant to be used. For the top of a lever, I required a nice heavy-duty ball. The lever has a wooden ball that is pressed against it, and it is not particularly comfortable to use. I knew I'd have to tread the lever for the ball, and I hoped the ball's threaded opening would be large enough to fit over it. It wasn't, so I had to thread the inside of the lever and re-thread it. sizing the threads that run through the ball Overall, it was a challenging project, but the Ball is very nice and sturdy, allowing for re-use. sizing. The lever is now a joy to pull, and the ball is extremely comfortable to use now that the project is completed.
Because the ball is hollow, it will fall through if your shifter linkage does not have full threads or if the linkage's threads are larger than the shank. Regardless, it's still a bit heavy. I stuffed rubber bands in there to fill the void and it worked fine, but I'd like to fill it with jb weld or something similar so I don't have to think about it. The black coating has faded a little and various copper colored dots and lines have appeared, but I like it. However, I can feel some high and low spots in the ball itself, which my finger plays with and distracts me from. However, the ease with which it smudges bothers me. For what it is, I believe it is a bit overpriced.
I'm not sure if only some of them have a metal adapter, but the small round ones have a rubber spacer. Threads made of rubber aren't very good. The set screws had to be tightened again and again until they finally broke through and began to set on the shift threads. That does not make me happy. I'm fortunate in that I'm a machinist with access to a nice tool room lathe. Everything is now working properly after I ripped a new aluminum adapter. As many people have stated, it does get hot. On the plus side, the knob is a beautiful color and feels and looks fantastic! Please only include metal adapters as a courtesy to us. If the adapters were good, I'd give it a five-star rating.
This knob is incredible, and it's made of top-notch materials throughout. The threads are beautifully tapped, and the feel is as smooth as chrome should be. The only criticism I have of this knob is that the adapter is brass and does not fully screw in, leaving a visible and tactile gap between the knob and the retainer. For the time being, I've covered it with black rubber, but I'm hoping to find a washer at a hardware store that will do the job better. It's odd, because the inner knob is shaped in such a way that you'd think the adapter would go all the way in, but after several attempts, I don't believe that's possible. EDIT: br>br> After doing some research, I discovered a low-profile adapter that I am hoping will solve the problem. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate it on Amazon; however, I have discovered a better alternative to a washer. Despite the additional cost of the new adapter, I am still very pleased with this knob.
I bought this from the first ad that came up when I searched for a shift knob and didn't read the reviews until it arrived. I saw some reviews that turned me away, such as people complaining about bad threads or the ball being too big, but overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. The ball arrived quickly, undamaged (no scratches or chips), and it's a very nice size and weight (pleased with the weight, especially for the price!) It easily fit on my 06 IS250. This is an excellent knob for automatic or manual transmissions, and I would recommend it over any other more expensive shift ball.
This part is compatible with the G56 Ram Manual Transmission. It comes with three adapters to ensure that it fits. It only took about 20 seconds to set up. There is only one thing to think about. It's as if you're holding a solid chunk of steel in your hands. Consider a large version of a Steel Marble. It appeals to me greatly. Exceptional quality. The only thing I didn't think about was the fact that It was 20 degrees outside this morning when I woke up. I grabbed it and shifted it backwards. There are no gloves on. Mistake. I was afraid my hand would catch on the bare metal. When it's cold outside, put on a pair of gloves.
The appearance is appealing to me. It's a good product for the price, but the paint on mine has a few flaws already. They aren't visible, but they can be felt. Other flaws. br>br> On a sunny day, it's extremely hot to touch. On a cold morning, it is extremely cold. br>The fit is loose. It's a nice touch for my 1990 Miata, and it'd look good in a lot of everyday drivers.
