I'm sure my boyfriend loves the swing case he got for his birthday. 2 of the items were purchased. Designed to be easy to clean. Each side has a piece. It is easy to detach with a light pull of the lever. The process of reattaching is easy as well. This mount locks into position when the vehicle is moving and stays in place when it is stationary. Plus, it doubles as a cooler if you are tailgating or simply want some cold refreshments when you're on the go. The cooling system did not have a drain because the device was not designed to act as a cooling system. The good news is, you can disconnect and vice versa without any hassle. After purchasing them on December of 2016, they seem to be holding up pretty well with heavy usage (especially when one of them is used as a cooler with ice and beverages). A year and a half has passed since I bought this box. As you can see, there are two bullet cases with cracks in each case in the attached picture. On the left, it took place 3 months after the first. Prior to this vehicle, we had a suburban, so moving to this truck was a "downsizing" as far as storage space is concerned. weren't much looking forward to drilling into our brand new 40k truck however, we're glad we did it now that we have it installed! With a drill and 30 minutes of my husband's time, we installed it in no time. We now have plenty of room for our jumper cables, tow hitch, cargo straps, reusable grocery bags, gloves and still have room inside! And it locks! People also seem to comment on it every time we are out shopping, believe it or not! I think it is a great idea and a must have for anyone with a pickup truck who needs more storage.
