In order to install the box, the bed tie down bracket needs to be removed. Spray had been applied to mine. There were tiny pieces of skin under the bedliner that I was unable to remove. I could not install the box because of this. The trucks could have easily been designed around the standard equipment they came equipped with. Adding this box to your machine will take out the die down on the driver's side. That's insane. In addition, you will also need to drill six holes in the truck bed sidewall in order to install it. It is unfortunate that I have to make any modifications to my brand new truck due to laziness in The materials seem extremely cheap for $180, especially considering that I couldn't install it. I am disappointed! After receiving them, I went to inspect the contents and found the passenger side had a cracked lid whereas the driver's side was perfect. When I contacted Amazon, they were extremely helpful. I sent out another as soon as possible. On the next day, I received the package and it was intact and undamaged, however this time, the brackets attached to the case were It is impossible to modify these because they are riveted in place and can only be altered by drilling out the rivets. Amazon apologized for the issue and once again sent a replacement after a second call to them. Thanks so much, Amazon! It took overnight for a replacement to arrive and the new one was perfect. I think the third time is the charm. NOTES ON MOUNTING It is extremely easy to set up these boxes. There is little difficulty reading and following the instructions. Hold up the box and bracket where it will be mounted on the bed of your truck before you "dry fit" them. If you decide to use a drill to attach screws to your truck bed (torque is required), you should also use a good drill. The last time I wrote a review was a few months ago, but I decided it was worth writing for this one. This product works perfectly and was very well thought out. You'll have plenty of room inside for junper cables, a tire pump, a tire patch kit, fuses, tow straps, and more. There's a couple inches of wasted space between the front and rear wheel wells, so the only complaint I have is that they didn't make it longer. It is certain that engineers had a reason for that, however. Because it's so convenient, I am thinking of getting a second. I forgot to mention, I fitted a bed mat and a Leer Tonneau cover to the back of the Tundra. That's exactly what I was looking for!.
