My Jeep Wrangler 2007 has a spare tire that will not fit under the winch and mount

The winch cannot be installed on this carrier because of the spare tire. The spare cannot be cleared by Smitty 9500. STOP MARKETING IT AS A JEEP ACCESSORY IF IT WILL NOT FIT UNDER THE SPARE TIRES. It was too late for me to return it before I realized what had happened. br>I took it as a given! It's just a boat anchor at this point. Ugh.

When you're under a lot of pressure, you're going to get twisted It was a useful product, but it twisted with a 13k winch mounted on it, possibly due to my own error

My winch was actually stopped from working because of how twisted it was. It could use a little more bracing or something to help it resist twisting.

It had to be modified to fit a tow winch, but a few additional holes and it was a perfect fit. It's a lot easier to have everything ready for when I need the winch.

Other than that, the warn evo 8 8000 lb winch barely fit this plate and would not fit with handles. br>Aside from that, the plate is well made, thick, and solid. br>I haven't used it yet, but I am confident it will work well.
