To attach the fairlead, I used the stock 4 rollers from my 5000 lb Badland winch but I used washers that were slightly larger
It took me a bit to figure out that the wire connector stud made contact with the bumper when I was trying to mount a Badland 5k, so be attentive to the electrical connections when mounting

The Harbor Freight 2500 was mounted without any problems.
The fit, finish, and quality of the plate is exceptional. As soon as I drilled a couple of extra holes in the frame of the Teryx4 and added a couple of spacers, the Badlands winch fit well. When I first got the badlands plate, everything was extremely tight and nearly touching in a few places, so it bent after six months of use. This one is more flexible and still bends after six months of use. If I had done this sooner, my life would have been so much simpler. I liked how easy it was to install and how well it fitted on my Teryx. In order to install the new brush guard, it did not have to be removed. As well as fitting the winch fairlead that comes with the Badlands 5000lb (68144). Unlike most standard sizes "), and I was afraid of the result not being what I expected. Besides fitting a 6" fairlead, it also fits a standard 8" disc brake plate. Don't cut corners like I did, buy this plate instead. You will save a ton of time with this. Here is a description of how I installed it. I. 1. I removed the winch and plate that I had been using before. Amount of work performed 1-3. Mounted the winch on the KFI plate* 3. Upon sliding it in for a test fit, I realized that the terminals should be rotated on the winch so they don't hit the frame or brush guard. Rotate the terminals 90 degrees
5. Slide the terminal back out and slide it back in. Bolting it down, reconnecting the terminals were all that was needed to slide it back in. The last paragraph. The code has been tested and works!.
Number one, just because the winch sits on this mount doe's not mean it will be able to be used on your machine. PUT IT TO THE TEST! A 4,500-lb Champion was on the rig, and I finished my install, only to find that I couldn't put the front bumper In addition, I installed a Superwinch LT 2,500lb and it fit perfectly. #2 tip If you are using a KFI mount you will have to bolt things to the top and bottom of the mounting plate! Do yourself a favor and install the winch first. There will be some bolt/nut work that needs to be done with very, very small fingers, as well as the use of a floor jack to hold the snow plow mounting plate in place. Installing all went fine, but I misplaced my first component. I had to take it apart and reassemble it twice before I realized my mistake. Thank you for reading my review and if you found it helpful, please like it!.
This is unacceptable. Despite heavy damage to the shipping container, the products are still in good and acceptable condition. The Badland 5000 lb winch mount was installed on the Kawasaki Teryx 4 2020.
I purchased this to mount on the front of my Teryx4. It holds up well and fits without any problem. I have no complaints about the finish, and it should last for a long time. Installation was no problem and no drilling was involved. Please note - The only problem I encountered was that the instructions and the hardware provided seemed to indicate it would be easy to get the mount in place and then screw the bolts in The bolts to attach the crane to the mount were not attached with threaded holes, nutplates, or even nuts. In this situation, we were left scrambling through a bucket of random nuts/bolts trying to find something that would work so we could progress. Since hardware stores were closed on a major holiday, it had to be a holiday.
Unfortunately, this mount does not work with a 2018 Kawasaki Teryx4. It appears to be a very nice mount, but I would really like to use it. If you visit the KFI website, they do mention that, but this listing on Amazon does not. The hard way was the only way I found out.
Called KFI, they said to call Warn and told me that on the VRX winches you cannot rotate the terminals. Moved the bottom of the bumper out 1 inch and drilled new holes to clear it by 1/8 inch called back and was hung up on.
