Is there a bolt size that fits this?

I believe that it would require bolts that are grade 8 for it to work. I have never seen it come with bolts, but I imagine it would require 5/8"

Can you tell me what the bolt pattern is?

Bolt holes meet the specifications of a standard receiver in four locations.

Is what it's supposed to be

A piece of equipment needed this and a drawbar to be towed home. It was only the 1/2" bolts they provided that were strange. There was an 18mm nut on the bolt head, but the bolt head is 3/4". Make sure you mount the drawbar on the hitch so you won't have to wrestle with it as you tighten the bolts.

Unlike the "Tow Ready" hitch I returned as soon as I received it, this hitch is of excellent quality. With very little free play or slop, the Curt hitch is finished nicely and it has a solid, tight, crisp locking action.
