The seller responded to my messages promptly. UPS appears to have lost the wiring harness in my package, which was received. The security camera footage shows damages to the box, so thanks be to God. I have filed a claim with UPS and have been waiting since I filed it for a resolution. Seller was extremely helpful and provided detailed photos to show it was shipped intact. It's hard to believe COVID is causing delays. In regards to the metal tow hitch itself, it is exactly what I wanted and I can see why people pay a lot of money to have these installed since it's an authentic OEM product. Very heavy too. I thought overall it was exactly what I needed.

It is good to see a car manufacturer get The trailer hitch is not the easiest thing to install, but Kia made it as simple As well as the frame being threaded, this package includes a trim plate, a plug and play light adapter, a tow bar, and a "Kia" insignia plug for use when not attaching a hitch. In the beginning, I was able to secure it alone since you can rest the hitch on the muffler, but it would have been easier if two people were there. It used to be that I bought Curt or Reese trailer hitches, but when we paid as much for the Telluride, I wanted a part that looked like it came from the car. I don't regret spending the extra money for.

Based on other information from buyers here, I expected a 4 pin plug. The one I have has seven pins. It is nothing serious since an adapter is cheap, it might come in handy if I ever decide to tow something bigger, however, I was somewhat confused by the requirements. Overall I'm happy with the product and the price was good. The seller shipped it fast.

TIPS Check to see if you should torque those bolts with a torque wrench according to the manual and have all the necessary tools on hand before you begin. You can find a video on YouTube and a thread on one of the Telluride forums that are helpful to review before beginning.
