A few days ago I was getting ready to go fishing with my hitch only to discover it had been stolen. There was a lot of anger in me! When I had to go overseas, I let my friend watch my truck until I returned to buy another one. He said he did not know what happened to the hitch when I came back, as I noticed it skidding. The next day I was even more pissed off. In the Netherlands, where I now live in Europe, I didn't think too many people have trucks, so I thought I would be safe buying this nice hitch because it had all the features I wanted and matched with my blacked out truck, so the black hitch was perfect. I was working in my office one day when a colleague ran into my office and said someone was trying to take Having stopped him before he got away, I decided to go out and stop him before the job was done. Having two pin sizes is great, since I couldn't figure out which size pin I needed to fit my hitch. I have found it easy to use and it is holding up so far.
In my case, I am using the locking mechanism For the Yakima bike rack pin, I will use the end section of this. This lock is much better than the $30 cheap plastic ones you can buy from Yakima. It fits perfectly and works just as well. So far, I am very pleased with this!.
