Questions & Answers

The lift on my truck is a hydraulic lift. I have a 2012 Silverado. Will this fit?

You should be able to sleep in a standard bed. Our model series Silverado and Sierra have the same bed. I have a 2013 Sierra crew cab with standard bed and they fit perfectly.

Could you please tell me if I can put a Chevrolet Z71 2007 on the program?

Instead of a Z71, I put them on a 2007 4x4 LSW. My Z71 cannot be fitted with them if I can think of any reason

Is the length of the bed sufficient to accommodate these?

A Wheel Well Guard will fit any truck bed length with a single rear wheel (not a dual wheel truck). The factory overload springs on the 2500/3500HD models will not be able to accommodate them.

The cover looks great and the coverage is good
4/5

The products made by Husky are of good quality. The floor mats and liners from this company have been in my home The Liners for the Rear Wheel Wells look great and cover the wheel well very effectively. On my 2011 Silverado Crewcab, the mounting holes aligned perfectly, and it took about 15 minutes per side to install them. In terms of my installation, only two things didn't appeal to me seem to have been sawed off directly from the mold, not cut from it. All of them. I would recommend using a sanding block to smooth out the edges. (1) Both sides of the liner do not snugly fit against the bottom of the wheel well housing against Although it's not a big deal, it's very likely that I will add another mounting screw to that area. Aside from these two problems, I am extremely pleased with the product. I will certainly install them on every truck I get in the future.

I fitted them
5/5

While it wasn't easy to get them inside with the temperature outside at 34°, it was still worth it. In spite of the rough treatment they received, they did not argue. The moment they pop into place, that ahhhh feeling comes over you. These fit so tight and perfectly that I do not think they need to be attached with screws. I also used rim covers to cover and protect the Silverado fenders from rust. It was most of the rim that was missing but when the well cover was attached to the rim, the rim remained It looks like a brand new truck!.

An old GMC Sierra model
4/5

The following is my take. I will add photos, but here is what I think. Installing these was intended to make the installation of some rock lights easier, but they did not work out. It appears I made a mistake. There are a couple of 2009 GMC sierra 1500s in my family. A tight fit is required for these. Check to make sure the right side is installed on each toe. There is only one screw in each fender after I cut it to make it fit, and I only could screw in two screws There is no way around them they are not as weak as they Overall, they seem like they can hold up and are a good value at this price. But I won't buy them again unless they stay out in the rain. I don't know. The reason I gave it 3 stars was that it did not fit perfectly and it took longer than I expected. It's been a while since I've done it.

Ultimately, the headache installation is worth it
4/5

I had trouble installing it as easily as the videos suggest, but once they were installed, it looked wonderful. watch out for your kids' safety when you start this, or put earmuffs on them, because you might swear like a sailor if you run into the same issue that I did. According to my observation, the contour of the tank didn't quite match my truck, so the holes didn't When plastic is rigid it is difficult to push or shape) which is good until you want In order to catch the holes with the screws, I got three" (3mm) screws with similar threads and installed them at an angle (at a 3 degree After I slowly tightened the screw, the piece started to pull yourself into place and corrected the screw's angle. In such a situation, I was able to quickly switch out for the intended/original I like how it looks on the truck in the end The mud-melt allows the boat to move through snowfalls in winter and mud in spring.

Let them warm up outside in the sun, then hand file their outside edges lightly
5/5

I installed them on my 2012 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with no issues and they look great. About 40 minutes was all it took me to complete the task. When installing them, make sure they heat up in the sun so they become flexible enough to pull the bottom corners into the wheel well with one hand and work the edges into the wheel well from top to bottom with the other. The only improvement I recommend During the process of putting them in, my gloves kept getting in the way, so I removed them and my hands were like paper cuts. I gave it a 4 because I only have one reason for it.

There is some work involved in installing them, and you won't expect them to plug in by themselves
4/5

It took me just a few minutes to install There were no major problems on the passenger side. Quite the opposite is true when it comes to the drivers. It would be nice if the trimming/deburr section in the manufacturing process did a It hadn't even been touched on the outside section where it gets to the top lip. Trying to put on the "U" clips, but couldn't do it. I finally managed to get the liner in after trimming the lip of the mold off, but the screw holes could not be accessed due to the liner's height in the wheel well. Furthermore, the rear hole "B" was almost 3/4" too far to the rear. Everything else was smooth from there on after I drilled a new hole in the liner. For anyone considering these, I do recommend them as long as you're prepared to work hard at Trying to line up the holes can often be difficult. Just drill a new hole IN THE LINER and move the clip to make it.

A convincing argument is needed
3/5

A 12-foot Silverado 1500 LT 4x4 was used as a test vehicle. Despite the cheap shipping time, the quality of the package was extremely poor. Opened on both ends, the box had four sides. The carrier should use decent packaging materials (tape), but the manufacturer should use decent packaging as well. I picked up the box off my porch, and the instructions (which included It's next on my list of complaints that the instructions are unclear. I was told to check the part numbers on the back of the guards to determine which one belongs on the drivers' side and which belongs on the passenger's side. But there is no part number to be found anywhere. You should use your best judgment in this situation. The leaf springs sit higher on one end than the other, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it. The last thing we want to discuss is In fact, this is not the first husky product I've purchased. I think it is safe to say that the products of this company warp. They do not do so via the sun, but through the packaging. There were so many warpings in mine, I couldn't align anything. Even though the instructions went the wrong way in directing that I had to drill holes, I was not required to which was nice. With some convincing (due to warping), I was able to use factory holes in the sides and was pleased with the result. It isn't as bad as it seems. The only thing they do is subcontracting I found the product to be of mediocre quality. Don't expect it to be as straight forward as they are making Probably most of your time will be spent reshaping the guards, if your experience is anything like mine.
