Sadly, no, we do not use them
There is no guarantee that it will
There is a lot of absorbency and sponginess to it. It would be much better to use manifold gasket material, which is readily available on Amazon.
The gasket material has no rating in the specs, but it can be used anywhere that a similar gasket material would be used on a gas engine or diesel

As stated in the description, this stuff is supposedly intended to be used on engine parts that might experience high temperatures. It is wrong! The gasket blew into flames in less than 5 minutes when I used it on my old mitey mac engine. Although ordering gasket maker on Amazon would save me time, instead of making the trip to Napa or Auto Zone, I should have gotten it from Napa or Auto Zone. There is unused material left in the photo on the left. Here is a piece that ignited when used for only minutes. You shouldn't use it for applications that require high temperatures. But it can be used as kindling.
Gasket material such as this works fine, but there is one Because of how tightly rolled it is, flattening it out will cause it to crack if you are hurried. Using it was a little bit difficult since I had to wet it with water and lay it flat with a block of wood on top for a day for it not to be damaged.
Sorry for my lapse in judgment. My order was made in the thicker material because I could not be sure what size I required. Now that I know better, I should have ordered the 1/32" material. Although I cannot fault this company or vendor, I am likely to be able to use this gasket for a new MAF. As of now, this gasket has already gained the status of There are a majority of replacements I've seen that do not include a I find it a little difficult to deal with this thicker material Keeping the cutting surface flat is important. As long as the aluminum parts are tightened up well, they should fit. Considering this material is rolled up and moderately soft, it is a good idea to adjust your expectations. Flat sheets of a slightly harder gasket material are often used to form (engine) gaskets.
I love this stuff! As for gaskets, I make my own bypass valve gasket, throttle body gasket, and intake gasket for the lawn mower, as well as other little things here and there and they don't leak at all, even after multiple reuses!.
It is a good idea to keep a few loose sheets of gasket material in a box, in case you receive a part without a gasket or if a factory gasket fails and you need to make a replacement. I appreciate you

I have used this stuff to replace seals in a water pump and a carburetor. I am very pleased with its performance and its price is really reasonable.
There was an issue with it being on a roll. A weight had to be placed under the gaskets I cut out for several days in order to flatten them. When curled up, they can be a little challenging to install.
We were pleased with the performance of the material.
