Questions & Answers

It seems as if some are the same. What should I choose a 100, a 105, or an 110? What is the difference between the two?

Although the ability to cut is almost the same, the process of cutting differs between them. Get the new M110 if you want the most updated one and the one that is easiest to use. It is also possible to use M105 and M100 to cut, but they have more specific uses, making them more difficult to work with in some circumstances.

It is my pleasure to offer you My Autospa luxury care care 9" in It is impossible to remove all of the wax with the 10-inch polisher. My only option is to use a polishing cloth to manually remove. Could you please tell me what I am ?

In this article, I will describe how M100 is designed to remove paint that has become oxidized, dead, or damaged. The 2x2 section needs to be wiped off immediately after it has been worked into it. As it does not contain any protective ingredients, it should not be allowed to dry. It is typically used in conjunction with m205 Ultra Finishing Polish and used in the same way that m100 is. Using M21 to complete the job is the right thing to do. It works really well if you're looking for something that does all those steps in one shot. m66 Quick Detailer does a great job at it (it's a liquid cleaner wax, not a spray and wipe detailer, which does the job in 2 steps). Although it's a compromise, it cleans extremely well and has a surprising length of

Would this be effective with a DATorq 10x ?

Since I have owned a Tesla Model S for years, I have used a Porter Cable DA polisher with m100. There are still places where you can find the pads I use (I had a set of 5 at varying stiffness levels that I bought on Amazon), but they are scarce. Use a pad made for a compound like this if you're going to use it. The other reviewer pointed out that this has less residue than M105, which I find more attractive. It may take longer to polish with a DA polisher, but it has a greater degree of tolerance than a rotary one. I didn't ask you, but you didn't ask either. My polishing sequence is m100 followed by m205 Ultra Finishing Polish followed by m21 Sealant (all done In spite of the age of my car, the paint looks like a mirror. It's hard to believe that these products exist.

Can the process be done by hand since I don't have a buffer?

In response to another post, I agree. If I do it at hand, then you will most likely get the same result as if I used As well as lasting a very long time to apply, once it dries you will have to remove it. I have used this over years with a Porter Cable DA buffer, and it is incredible. If you intend to use the DA buffer on a scanner, I recommend you buy a set of pads (*$15) and a DA buffer ($125). The odds are in your favor. Despite its longevity, the polisher will always be useful. A couple of years should be enough for the pads.

This is above and beyond the rest
5/5

In our high end detail shop, paint correction is one of the services we provide. Our 2015 Ford F-150 constantly flies by our doors, and no one can predict what may come our way As one of them, 150 is on the list. I bought the truck used, and it was in perfect condition except for the paint. I knew there was a problem when I bought it, but I was considering it as Well, I tried my compounds that we have, one of them being my M105, it worked, but I needed to do many passes, dust was a big problem, so I bought the M100, which in my career in detailing I have never used before. Regardless, it is stunning. There is less dusting, and it is blue. It has a greater cutting capacity, has a longer work time, and it wipes off as easily as a wax, that part really blew me away. Even so, I had to make three passes on each section because the scratches on the branch were so deep. **I forgot to mention that the M100 did not require me to wet at all, whereas I had to do so with the M105. The paint is left with a glossy finish. In addition to my Rupes Mark II 15 and microfiber cutting pads from Meguairs, I used my meguairs microfiber cutting pad. Followed using my m205, although I could have skipped the last step since it left the paint ready. However, I wanted to ensure that it was done From now on, there will be no more M105.

The dust is low and the extra cut is perfect
5/5

I'm very happy with the result. I recommend this compound for scratch removal that is 100% effective. The ability to finish well. It starts off with a fast cut for the first two passes and then begins to slow.

This is without a doubt the best product for You might consider this product if you want it to work with 3M pads and cost much less than the over-the-counter ones With comparable European counterparts and a cleaner that eliminates the haze left from sanding, this product is a winner! It is the only product that I have found to remove 100% of the haze with only a few passes and it also works well for 1 to 3 passes This is the final step in polishing
5/5

With its white compounding pad, I used it to remove the haze left by 3M's Trizact 1500 then 3000 pad, and with their Trizact 1500 To begin with, I used Cutmax by Sonax, a notch Even after sanding, none of those products manage to remove more than 75% of the haze. Additionally, I used Menzerna's Super Heavy Cut 300 compound, and that helped to remove a good 90% of my blemishes After several passes and with a good amount of pressure, a good amount of haze is removed. Despite examining under direct light, haze was still visible, especially on curved panels. Abrasive pressure or high buffing speeds pose a threat to the panel's integrity. My Meguiar's M100 can do about two quick passes at medium speed and all haze is gone, leaving a surface that was good enough to be called "show car" On plastic bumpers and at low speeds using the other product did not produce any noticeable differences, the M100 did a great job. In the future, this is defiantly my go to compound!

However, this compound might be too aggressive for light swirl correction or light car wash scratch correction. In the event you want to apply this to everything When correcting light imperfections, I recommend using a pad with a softer pressure and a less aggressive pad.

The DA Polisher does a great job with it
5/5

A step forward from Ultra-HD It is a cutting compound known as My local Meguiar's Ultra-Shield did not have this, so I bought this Add 105 to the cut amount. Since I was a kid, I used 105 as part of a 3-step approach to learning This is a step-by-step process to polish a Porter Cable DA polisher.

There may be less quality brands, but at least it is not 3M
3/5

The 201 compound that compliments it works well to remove swirl marks and cuts deeply, but it seldom does anything with foam pads. My coworker told me to have a try so I bought a Quart and tried it all with different foam pads and even wool. Having 3M in your arsenal will give you good results for years to come.

You've got some nice stuff here
5/5

There is no way for me to say enough positive things about this product. It has better qualities than their 105 and 205 compounds, which contain fillers. It is possible to remove 1500 grit scratches easily, and you get a nice clean and clear surface, using the M100 with twisted wool pad. You will be very pleased by the results when you follow up with a polishing pad.

Let the wax do its work
5/5

Take the wax off the I literally can't get enough of this stuff! A few years ago, I began using M105 There are so many things that are easier to use with this stuff. It takes more time to work with this stuff and gives awesome results since there is no dusting required. A coat of wax and one pass is all it takes. Like a mirror, it reflects everything.

This is the stuff of dreams! The compound has excellent finishing qualities
5/5

It is fast-acting and aggressive. Oxidation can be quickly removed with this product. This is what I use when painting commercial vehicles and when correcting paint defects The area where I cannot wet sand (wet sanding and compounding will take half the time of trying to paint correctly with only M100). It is possible to apply a last stage product straight after M100 without causing any harm. If you still need further assistance, I highly recommend completing M205 (or similar) and then applying for It is possible to see compounding haze under high intensity shop lights.
