Based on solvents, it is an aqueous solution. There's no need for a body shop to use this. Product not made of silicon.
In my opinion, diluting would not be a good idea, and I am unaware of what you would use to dilute. It works differently than Quick Detailer, since it doesn't need to be wiped as hard to produce a shine. I actually prefer Final Inspection, and use it regularly on my motorcycle and my old car. The product can be used on vehicles that have a little dust, but make sure you turn your rag frequently to a clean surface. A clay bar cleaner works well with it too since it makes a great lubricant. No waxes are present in this product.
Between washes, I use it just as a quick cleaner. It lasts for a few weeks, you can use it as long as you wish.

The fact that I don't have to hose the car off and expose it to water infiltration in impossible to reach places makes using a quick detailer such as this much more convenient. Classic cars that are rarely if ever driven in the rain are great for this. Using this, car owners rarely have to worry about getting.

About every part store owner sells 2 pint size bottles for about the same price as a gallon of this and I've probably purchased about 6 of them. It will eliminate any water spots from your wash, assuming you have waxed your car in the last six months, and it will add a nice shine.
