Yes, the label differs from what I previously purchased, but the product is identical. It's what I use for machine embroidery as a temporary adhesive.
Found this online-505 is the market's leading basting/embroidery spray, with a history of over 50 years on fabric and is the only spray on the market designed specifically for fabric and thread. During washing, 505 will dry and break down over time, and if possible, it will migrate out of the fibers. It will not harm the quilts, however, if they are never washed. The propellant dissipates, leaving only the adhesive to hold your quilt in place, which is an inert resin that causes no harm or changes over time, and you'll never know it's there.

I've now lost several bottles due to the sprayer's failure to function, the most recent of which occurred after only a minute. Fill a small stainless bowl with acetone and immerse the spray head, then fill the spray area with acetone, as I've discovered. Wipe away the solidified adhesive with q tips/cotton swabs/cotton balls on a regular basis, then test; if it doesn't work, repeat the procedure. I figured out how to make it work in the end. However, because acetone is harmful to counter tops and other surfaces, you should use towels or a protective mat. I didn't want to waste an expensive adhesive bottle, but I eventually figured out how to dissolve it and get it to work.
I'm a quilter, and instead of using pins or basting, I use spray adhesive. I've tried other sprays and this is the best; in fact, no other spray will work with my Bernina Q20! Seriously. . . I was having a terrible time and called the store. . . they said Bernina only recommended this spray!.
I had to spray out doors even in the winter before I discovered it. I can now quilt throughout the year.
No odor. On my quilts, I'll only use this basting spray. It sticks to the fabric well, but it's still easy to move around. The best part is that there are no fumes, odors, or overspray like there are with other sprays.
It comes in handy when I'm working on embroidery projects. It also works well for securing my puppy's training pads. This prevents the pad from strewn about the room.
This is the only way I'll baste my quilts. It only takes a light spray to keep things in place while you quilt, and it's simple to reposition if necessary. As with any spray, make sure to use it in a well-ventilated area.
Although this product works well and is my "go to" quilt basting temporary adhesive, it was poorly packaged, with two of the three caps and nozzles broken; After about 1/8 of the product was used, the worst of it was shattered, and the sprayer clogged. Attempts to clear it have been unsuccessful. This costly waste of money could have been avoided if a little more effort had been put into packaging this product.
I started making my first blanket and was having some issues with my fabric moving around, so I looked up some information about fabric adhesive and bought my first three cans. Now I'm in love with it and won't be going back to just pinning my fabric; I'll definitely be using Odif 505 spray every time I make a blanket; it'll be my only adhesive spray.
