This type of glue is best for using with paper - labeling and photographs It won't cause the paper to wrinkle or discolor, and humidity won't cause it to peel. It is possible to adhere paper to wood with this method. It has a hard time sticking to non-stick surfaces. Metal, glass, plastic, and glossy painted surfaces of any kind are porous surfaces. I use it to temporarily bond paper 1 in my business. That is an excellent query. When it comes to attaching the rhinestone to the candle glass, I believe this rubber cement will work perfectly, but keep in mind that glass is smooth, so most glues will have little grip. Fortunately, Elmer's Rubber Cement isn't your typical do-it-yourself adhesive; it's super strong and can get a firm grip on glass on its own. I hope this has been of assistance:
It is soft, but it is only used to bond materials together.
I'm not sure about the tiles on the floor. With all of the traffic on them, they may form a more permanent bond over time. I'm not entirely sure.

This is the worst rubber cement I've ever used in my life. It was either diluted by someone else or Elmer's was having a bad day. A thin layer of glue should be enough to hold two pieces of paper together, but it isn't. It soaks into the paper, which is not what you want. To get pages to stick together, I have to apply a thick layer of rubber cement, which defeats the purpose of the product. The odor is also off. The smell of rubber cement is always unpleasant, but this one is distinct. I can only assume it's been diluted and repackaged because I have another bottle of Elmer's rubber cement from a few years ago that works perfectly. Did the formula change?.
The small bottle was purchased for children, but it was extremely difficult to use due to the amount of rubber cement stuck to the applicator cap brush shaft. To use, it is too small, too full, sloppy, and messy. The bottles were purchased for children, but they will not be given to children. br> On the other hand, I've been using Elmer's Rubber Cement for a long time. I'm a photographer and a crafter, and I've always preferred Elmer's because it dries quickly and never wrinkles. It also acts as a strong adhesive. It occasionally spills out due to the gluing process, but you simply wait for it to dry before rubbing it out. It's that simple.
I weighted them down and checked them every 12 hours for a total of 48 hours. br>The adhesion never held or dried. It was a complete waste of my time and money! Color me blue and sad. br>br>Color me blue and sad.
The bonding strength is poor, and you'll need to use the entire bottle to achieve any kind of satisfactory results. br>It appears that this product was created for a child to use when gluing together small pieces of paper. br>I wouldn't recommend this type if you're looking for something more powerful. br>br>It's also not a great deal.
You could just use a glue stick instead. I bought this for my jewelry class because I needed a way to adhere paper to metal, but it just slips and slides and never dries, leaving a mess.
In my appointment book, I needed to update a list of contacts. The cement made it easy to attach to the book after creating the new list and importing the changes from Word and Excel. When I was younger and did leather work as a hobby, I used this product. It was used to adhere long-lasting liners to purses, wallets, billfolds, and other items. On a Datson sedan, I even glued a wagon train's tooled leather dashboard.
Elmer's glue is excellent, but for some reason it has become prohibitively expensive. The metal can (my personal favorite) has skyrocketed in price, presumably due to Chinese factories' decision to drastically reduce production costs. increase the cost of living This glue can be used in a variety of ways and comes highly recommended.
