A little practice is necessary to achieve the look I want, but there are plenty of tutorials online. Just be aware that the paint needs to be pasty and chalky, so once it's open, the paint will dry out, even when tightly sealed. The texture is too mushy when it is added water. After using it, I just add a few drops of acrylic retarder to the remainder, shake it, and seal it after using. I've been able to preserve the remaining in the pasty, chalky consistency for other uses.
There is nothing else I can say about this stuff it's too beautiful to explain. After watching youtube videos about application and usage, including one by Finnabair, I thought the modest piece I had been working on was much more beautiful than it appeared in the video. This is the opposite of what I expected. I think these three pastes simply can't be missed when you combine them On one video I watched, Rich Copper Metalique Wax was applied, which I also did, and I was blown away by the results on a mixed media piece. I have never seen a patina method that looks as good as this- And the only one that can be done easily.
My first experience with mixed media is very limited. The card making and scrapbooking obsession has been redirected to this. This is the joy I feel when playing with Just a little. . That's really impressive. Adding a little grunge to a page can completely transform it from plain and boring to beautiful and impressive. Having these 20 years ago would have made my life so much easier. My mistake was not having done that. The goal is to buy every single one With texture paste, gesso, with a little bit of glitter, and modge podge, I mix them together. Nothing is too difficult for them. As lowlights, they are useful. The key points. You can darken them up to blend them and then add a little more depth with layering. I love the colors so much. There are quite a few sheer parts. To use them, I like to push them into wrinkly bits of paper or around the edges of cardboard. However, it is very buildable. Needs to be sealed without a doubt.
It had always been a struggle for me to make things look rusted until I bought.
This is excellent. This product is used on clay that has not been A little bit of work to find the balance between colors, but I'm happy with the final product. It dries fast, however it leaves a sandpaper feel to it. It's best to buy here.
As I have expensive adhesive silk screen stencils, the chalk paste that comes with them is a bit expensive, so I thought I would try this. There is no difference in quality between these two products and they are about half the price. If I were to buy it again, I would. My guess is that I It's a great product! I got two sets, patina and rust, and I recommend them After stenciling, I checked whether the item was ready to be used. As for the paste itself, I wanted to be clear that it In an effort to create an aged effect, I intentionally did that.
Nothing wrong with it - just think of the effects. There is something that the purchaser needs to know. Bright colors make the picture pop. I tested the paste to see if it applied well, although the paste is too thick for the project I had in mind. I am very pleased with the results. These colors are probably easier to work with in clay and ceramics. If you want a thick paste and these colors, you'll be in luck.
There were grits in the paint because the seal was not tight. It came back exchanged, and the next one came back exactly the same way. I wasn't please with the green seal and gritty paint, but the blue and copper were fine. The only thing I know for certain is if they had a bad batch in production and I just happened to get two or if they are all similar. Although the blue and copper paint looked nice, it wasn't my favorite. I liked how easy it was to use and how pretty it was.
