Questions & Answers
It is, after all, made of paper. (Newsprint is mentioned in the description) and paper is flammable. The question now is, "should" you use this to start your fire? Paper can cause high flames, which can cause creosote to ignite; instead, try a potato chip(s), which will burn for about 2-minutes. Kindling will be lit in 3 minutes. Just putting it out there.
It is not absorbent, despite its matte finish.
Because it's printed on newsprint. It glides over the surface. To get a sense of what it's like, look for a real "newspaper." This is the same type of paper that you'd find in a pad. This is an excellent crayon drawing surface. The material quickly absorbs liquid. Direct water, oil, and acrylic painting are not recommended. Layering and decoupage are both possible with this material.
I'm not sure how to tell if something is acidic or not. br>It resembles plain "newsprint" paper in appearance.

During a recent move, I used 40 pounds of newsprint paper. There was no breakage because we wrapped everything that was fragile in it. The Youtube videos that demonstrated how to use the wrap were extremely useful.
It goes a long way, stays fluffy (perhaps not the best descriptive word, but I'm at a loss for words) when used to fill space in boxes, and is sturdy but not stiff, making it easy to work with. I used a little bubble wrap for very fragile items, but wrapping plates, glasses, and other items in a couple sheets of this paper worked just fine. Our most recent move was a long distance move for which we hired movers, and they were definitely NOT gentle! However, I'm pleased to report that I'm nearly finished unpacking and have yet to find a single broken item!.
There was a lot of paper, which we used to do artwork on while unpacking with the kids. It was the perfect size for our three-bedroom house.
I thought this would be insufficient to pack our entire house for a cross-country move, but I was wrong! With anything glass, I was generous with how much I used, and I still have a lot left over!.
Paper is difficult to come by! Great for packing items, lining pet bird houses, covering a table while painting on canvas, and laying on the floor while painting on the walls. Place it on the floor for the children to color on. Use it. When you're done with it, recycle it.
Very dissatisfied with the amount of paper provided. I've ordered from other vendors before, so I know this was significantly less than the amount of paper I paid for and expected.
I rolled it up and stuffed it into a box with the bubble-wrapped item in the middle. So far, I've only used it once for online business, but it appears to work well and is a good size (25 lbs?). Well, it was a good deal, and I won't be running out of it anytime soon.
A bird cage liner is a material that is used to line the inside of a cage for Item was shipped after I paid for it, and it was exactly as described.
