Are also the rims glazed? I know the wells have been glazed, but are the rims, too? In the absence of a glazed edge, I have a hard time finding a set that is stain-free. ?

They are smooth and shiny all over except the bottoms, which do not matter. I have not had any stains on any of mine.

Can you tell me how big the interior is? It would be helpful to know the size of the actual mixing surface. ?

There is a 2-inch diameter in the center of our palette. There are 76 inches in height.

This is an excellent product

Despite the fact that they do not exactly fit together, they slide. However, I am thankful I ordered them. I really like how they're made. Make sure you open the box safely when they are inside. But they came out sharply and a few fell to the floor. Instead, I thought I was going to glide it into my hands. I am glad to report that they are not broken or chipped. Thus, that is the case. The heart attack was just a minor one.

My studio is now complete with this beautiful addition

Mix these with larger amounts of watercolor paint to achieve the desired color. It really amazes me how much space they take up in my studio. I can use just one dish at a time and I don't have to hoard any other dishes.
