During my class I realized porcelain pallettes didn't last for long after I used plastic ones for many years. It is better to use porcelain as the watercolor does not separate when mixing or using it like it does With the new way of painting, you're able to see your color much better and get a creamy, rich texture of Changing from plastic to metal has been a game changer for me.
