Mine was purchased on July 3rd (1 1/2 months ago) and I use it almost every day since then. I am happy with how well it works and am delighted with Even though this is an economy unit, I've looked at units that are built stronger and they cost more, and this one will do just fine. My dryer is in my garage and I put a 4 inch hole through my block wall to vent it. In the booth, I even spray my brush into the air, to clear it and verify that the spray pattern is correct, and all of the paint is sprayed out. My $10 investment in the LED lights kit has been one of the best investments I have ever made. The lighting provides a good amount of illumination for the work area. Due to the fact that I use water-based paints, I cannot help with the flammable paint. If I were a fire protection contractor, I would have bought a unit designed for that application, but I don't see the need to spend more money when this one fits my needs just fine. Safety is a very viable option for hobby painters because of the affordability and the ease of use that this product brings.
Dedicated brushless motors are necessary if your device does not have one to prevent the passage of flammable fumes through or around a motor that could cause You can find brushless motors for an overall booth fairly easily , and they can be used to power other paint booth products as well. You don't have to take a chance, do you?

Paint from rattle cans and lacquer aerosols are my exclusive means of applying paint in this booth. Immediately after lacquer fumes are removed, they are removed. In a nutshell, Getting an air brush for my birthday prompted me to purchase one of these. There was a problem with the delivery. I could not even get the power to come In my contact with the seller, I gave them time to respond so I would know how to fix it, but I never heard back from them, so I did it I was able to fix it fairly easily by removing the grill on the back of the device, and sticking my fingers in to adjust it The fan blades should be placed In the beginning, it didn't work, but then it worked (for the 2 first times This morning I installed the fan, and it ran for about five minutes. There was a brief pulsing before the fan shut off. While shipping it broke the fan more than I had expected, even though I managed to get it working. It would have been nice if they had responded to my email about what to do, as I now have to figure out whether to return it or replace the fan.
In the winter, I am going to use this to paint stainless steel tumblers. The app does a terrific job, but the manual is out of date. According to the instructions, you need to remove the four screws from the back of the fan and remove the grill to fit the hard sleeve. This is not what you should do! The sleeve has no holes, and so I wondered what that was about, but then I saw the tabs on the inside and it looked like you are supposed to turn and hook it to The first thing I thought was that maybe it hooked inside the unit, but I saw that the tabs didn't reach low enough to hook underneath something. Realized then that it had probably hooked on to As I put the grill back on, the tabs slid under the 4 screws and I was able to get them to unscrew. As a result, it is NOT necessary to remove the screws like stated in the instructions. There is nothing wrong with the rest of the instructions. For that reason, I gave it a 4 star rating.
In my opinion, the best feature of it is the easy way it folds, so it can be stored on As a vacuum, it makes about the same amount of noise as a shop vacuum, but not nearly as loud as one. Also, I received the tubing I need to use the solvent based paints. You should know that the end of the tube most likely goes Besides the airbrushing device, it also came with a base that spins to place your items that you are airbrushing, which was nice to see. The air filter is a clear, blue mesh filter that can be easily changed. If the mesh fish filter needs to be replaced, I will simply use leftover mesh from the old filter. There is a lot of plastic and it's quite sterile. I use a daylight table lamp with a 65K bulb for lighting. Generally speaking, that is how I operate because it mimics nature as closely as possible. A sunny day. Unlike most incandescent bulbs, this bulb is yellow in color instead of orange. In my experience, I have used it for about 4 hours straight, and my ears were ringing. I will use foam earplugs next time. I'm very impressed with the price and quality of this product.
This is something I've been using since I got my airbrush a few months ago. Airbrushing indoors is so much easier when you don't get paint all over your house. the unit is about as loud as my air compressor, and it does a fantastic job of removing paint particles from the air and out the window (in my case, into a filtered bucket since it's too cold to open the window). The best airbrush on the market. I definitely recommend it for anyone.
I had pondered building one myself or buying one. I’m really glad I bought this. There are two main problems with what is available on the market for the hobby-sized spray boot it's either not affordable or it's unreasonably expensive. There's nothing wrong with this product. It works well, folds up small, and has a reasonable price. The only reason I would have taken off a full star is as a result of its small size because I would have preferred something about six inches wider, except to get that extra width would be very expensive. In summary, if you are a DIYer and believe you can build a better one yourself you probably can. However, if you factor in the costs of material and your time it's hard to beat the price for this unit. Because this unit doesn't have an option to add lights, I made my own self adhesive LED strips. If you plan to use this in an area where there isn't a lot of direct light, I strongly recommend you make this change. A good deal of light is filtered through the hood, despite it being transparent in some ways.
The box was still brand new when I received it. Quality materials appear to have been used in this product. It was not too difficult to assemble. In order for the extension adaptor to fit, the four screws on the fan cover had to be slightly loosened. My extension ran out the window for about 30 minutes, then I turned the unit off. Having to start it and stop it twice is annoying. LED lighting is better. Smoke and acrylic paint thinner on paper towel test well for exhaust (smoke and thinner). Following the 30 minute run, I noted that the AC adaptor had become warmer than I would have liked. It is because of this reason that I have given it a 4 out of 5. As I was looking at the picture, I thought it was bigger than it was. The width from left to right is 16" and the height and depth are 12". The trains should be able to run in HO scale. It is extremely small compared to the other booths. The floor area is only 22 ft2. I was not expecting it to be so big once it is unfolded. Quite a bit of working space is available. Only complaint I would have with it is that it was out of stock on the one with the LED lights! The reason I chose this one is because of that. This is one of the miniatures I purchased for my wife to get her started in painting our gaming miniatures. This design has been perfect for us since we don't have a separate space for hobbies (yet). It folds up into a nice, compact box when not in use, fits on our IKEA bookshelf with other games, and unfolds incredibly easily. We can eliminate any odors due to the fact that it absorbs all the fumes from our paints. While it makes a bit of noise, if you're using it, you're also running a compressor for your airbrush, so the sound isn't as bad as it might seem. If we need to paint multiple minis at once or if we want to paint something larger, we have the option of rotating the rotating plate in the middle of the table. The price was well worth it!.
