What home would be complete without a wood hand? Rather than use it for decor purposes, I decided to buy a pair for purely offensive purposes. I purchased the hands because the fingers bend nicely and the wrist makes it easy to tilt. It was cheaper than similar hands (I have a habit of trying to get a good deal and what I want) and very high I highly recommend this wood hand if a wood handle is what you need!.
It was very surprising to see such a high standard of quality, but I just wish it had a better functionality. One obvious problem with a human hand is that the thumb is in many positions it shouldn't be. You can't really make a fist without the thumb under As well, I wish there were some sort of option for spacing out the fingers, even This tool is great for sketching an image of a "relaxed" hand, but you won't be able to hold anything and make it look realistic.
However, I bought it solely for decor purposes and do not plan to use it as a jewelry holder. It's fun and unique to add texture and different shapes to your creations. A super cute puppy.
In order to display some finger puppets, I bought it, but it doesn't work There is an uncomfortable amount of spacing between the fingers, making it difficult to bend them. A hand model of the whole hand is too narrow to be useful. There may be some people for whom this method works. Then I am not your type of person.
My sister was given this as a present. It seemed like a good idea to her to make it a nice little office at work. It was a big hit with her!.
A right hand was sent to me in a box marked "left. ". It is ideal to have one right hand, but it is impossible to have two left hands at the same time.
The hand is a good size to use as an art model because it's 10" long. The wood is smooth and the joints are in good condition I am attaching. The only major complaint I have is that when you make a fist, the thumb does not "fold over" the fingers in a natural position. It is not possible to move the fingers except up and down It isn't possible to open the fingers in a natural way. It is not a 5 star model due to its limited range of motion, but it is useful for basic poses due to its good quality and useful features.
The Sketchbook is for my teenage daughter so she can work on her lifelike art. Although I'm not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, and I've never taken art classes, my girlfriend seems to enjoy it for the same reasons. There is no doubt that I Only thing I found surprising was that it came out smaller than I expected, but scale isn't important when sketching so I don't mind.
