There is audio and visual feedback provided by these particular manikins. Students and instructors can hear the click an audible CLICK from these PRESTAN Manikins as a confirmation of the right compression depth. On the Adult and Infant Manikins, the clicker is found in the chest cavity. The purpose of these manikins is to allow your students to see when they have reached and are maintaining the minimum recommended speed of 100 cpm, as well as when they exceed the upper limit of 120 cpm - this will be very useful when practicing CPR compressions. When they are notified, they will see a yellow monitor light flash! A summary of how the CPR Rate Monitor works is as follows 1 *br> The Prestan Professional Manikin is now ready for compressions. You have reached the right compression depth when you reach 2 When you click "4", an audible click will be heard to confirm your action Your clicker sends a signal to your CPR Rate Monitor each time you compress, and your Monitor will display the speed of each compression in a different color. In addition to the 4 manikin kit I obtained from the Red Cross, I got this one as well. It is the same manikin that came with my first kit and works perfectly. As compared with the cheap Fisher Price toy looking ones that came from Red Cross, the Prestan AED trainers are better and more realistic. My wish is to be able to afford four more Prestans. As a starter kit, I highly recommend this for those who only need to train four or less people. If these sets are offered at a discounted rate, it would be great if 4 or 6 of each manikin/AED were included.
A great selection of medical supplies is available from MCR Medical. They have been a direct seller to me for a long time. MCR sold these for a little more expensive than I paid for them directly on Amazon. However, I had to have them by the next day and I have free shipping through.
