Wraptek Canvas Frame Stretcher Bar Kit with 1-1/2" Depth

A small hammer, a razor blade, and a phillips screw driver are all you'll need to make your own canvas stretching system.

You'll learn everything you need to know about canvas stretching.

Kits range in size from 8"x8" to 60"x60" and include a FREE wire hanging set for kits 18" and larger!

*Note that the size you select is for the face of the print; to fully wrap the frame and staple the canvas to the back, you'll need a minimum of 4" in height and width on the print.

Do you sell a 36x24 kit?

Yes, it's listed as 24"x36" in the size drop-down menu. When hung, it can be used either vertically or horizontally.

What size stretcher bars do I need for my canvas, which is 16x26" and has a 1/2" white border around the printed part?

The height of our bars is 1. We recommend stapling 3/4" to the back, with a minimum of 1/2" on the back. As a result, subtract 4" from your total. Wrap the canvas by subtracting 5" from the overall dimensions. You can use either 12x22 or 11x21; it's up to you to decide which works best with your image.

Is there a cross brace in the stretcher frame that includes both vertical and horizontal braces?

Only has a horizontal bar, but also has diagonal bars in each corner, giving your canvas a great stretch and a lovely finished product.

What is the thickness of the frame?

Because the depth from the wall is 5", a preferred 2 is used. 25"- bleed: 5" or 4 From the print face, the overall canvas size is 5".

This is the biggest kit (60 x 32) that came closest to my painting's size. My other option was to hire someone to do it for me, but the estimates ranged from $340 to $450. $360. I made the decision to complete it on my own. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, and it turned out beautifully. It's something I really enjoy doing and intend to continue doing in the future. This product comes highly recommended!!.

I have never had a better cheapskate idea

Every day, the Amazon delivery person comes to our house. If a day went by without him having a delivery for us, he'd probably stop by to make sure we weren't dead. The bottom line is that we place a lot of orders. This is the first time, however, that I've felt compelled to write a review. I'd long admired and recently purchased a very expensive work of art, but I couldn't justify spending the extra $400 to have it gallery wrapped, so I ordered the rolled canvas and began researching DIY options for wrapping it myself. I chose these stretcher bars after reading a lot of reviews. My heart was racing the entire time I was working on the piece, and I was terrified that I would ruin my canvas, but the setup and instructions were so simple that even I couldn't mess them up. I ended up with a perfectly wrapped canvas with the sharpest, cleanest corners I could think of. I'm in ecstasy right now. If you're wondering whether or not you should order these to save money, the answer is a resounding YES!.

If you take your time, you will achieve flawless results

I placed an order for a colossal pizza. I believe the dimensions are 49x60. I took my time stretching out my canvas. It took some time to follow the directions exactly, but I got it done, and the canvas is now perfectly stretched! Love it. I intend to place another order. This is a lot less expensive than shipping a canvas that has already been stretched.

Extremely simple I bought an unstretched 30x60 canvas print on Etsy and came across these DIY stretcher bars while looking for a place to stretch it and figuring out how much it would cost

Even with the large size, the process was extremely simple - A staple gun and some basic tools are all you'll need. It looks great, I saved a lot of money, and I'm proud of myself for being able to do it so quickly!.

This kit was one of my favorites. Because the instructions were so brief, I searched YouTube for an easy-to-follow video, which I found. To staple the canvas edges to the frame, you'll need a staple gun, which isn't mentioned in the description. The adhesive holds the pieces together while they are being assembled, but it is then stapled. This produced beautiful results for a fraction of the cost of having it professionally stretched, and I would strongly recommend it.
