There are approximately 12 threads per inch of thickness / 30/1,000 of an inch thick. The spools have 5 yards on them. This braided rope has a 40-pound pull strength and has triple strands that are waxed. Various refill threads are available on Amazon as well.
You can get the replacement needles on Amazon by looking up " Leather, Canvas Sewing Awl Needle Refills, Replacement Threads, for Awl for All " in Amazon's search box. Regardless of the needle size, replacements are available in course, fine or a variety pack. As of yet, Amazon doesn't know when the replacement packs will be available for Course and Fine, but they will be available soon.
I have updated Using our own basic test, we were able to determine that the method we used was effective There are 10 attachments, 3 of which have been attached Using the thread, we lifted 30 pounds of weight (18 pounds each) without having the thread break. Several of our plates were already attached however, the fourth plate we had would not fit, as it was the only one we had on hand. Speaking from experience, it is possible that the thread may be too weak to sustain the force of 40 lbs. Our response has been to submit the update to Amazon with 30 pounds instead of 20 pounds as the pull force. You are very welcome to have brought this issue to our attention. Bless you. As the needles on the tool are specially designed for the tool, they can only be used with the needles that come with the set (or replacement sets from the same company). *br>Even other brands are subject to the same thing I believe. In this set, you get an #8 (course) and a #5 (fine) needle.

We rent out bounce houses, and one got torn. I found this product to be very user-friendly. It's easy to use and understand. I was able to repair the hole without difficulty.
This was purchased in order to fix the webbing of my I found that I had to narrow the needle a bit to make it work for me. could not find a smaller needle for this brand of stitcher but I saw somewhere that the speedy stitcher needle could be used. This is not the case. This needle base will not lock into the chuck because it is not the same diameter. It worked just fine, but it was nice to only have.
It is a far better and stronger product than what the original builders used, and we could not.
Although I have a speedy stitch that I like, I find with this one it's easier to control the thread tension and feed with less hand fatigue simply because of the placement of the thread bobbin. It depends on your personal preference and technique, but this is the one that works best for me. As well as big and small needles, it is nice to have this set. To complete the speedy stitch, I had to order a separate set of small needles.
If you wanted to do that, you would probably need a sharp punch with points. Having material and being able to work around the leather areas made my life much easier. This is an excellent tool in general. It is not enough to have a manual and videos. Pull the thread tool on the other side to make a loop.
