It was a shoddy build, but it was a great deal

The construction is slipshod, but the blades are very sharp, narrow, and feel good in the hand. Only one metal cap was straight, one wood handle was scratched, but it was still usable. Even with these complaints, I am still happy with the price. This is an excellent.

Had a hard time figuring it out

It seemed to me that the handles on the picture were much larger than what they were in reality, so I was not sure I was going to keep it. However, after using them a few times, I realized that the handles, while smaller and perfectly fitting my hand, were a bit too small. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this product.

It goes through thick leather without a problem, and it is extremely pointed

It was partly because this awl made all my hand stitching easy that I was able to make my first pair of home made shoes. I bought 5 packages for the price of 5. I think that was pretty reasonable for a high-quality product of this type.
