Is each strip of paper the same length? What do you recommend using this material for when the skirt has a lot of fabric?

This sheet is divided into four strips of 4" each. Two sides of the paper are included. A few drapes for my closet needed to be hemmed with it. There would be lots of this to cover a ball gown, so I'm not sure if it would be effective.

I hemmed suit pants for a wedding because they were too long - it didn't work out It would have been better to use Scotch tape instead of No, they weren't able to stick. A cotton patch won't work if they don't fall into this category They may be able to work on blend suits, but I'm not sure what material they're made of.
