It was easy to cut the bread with a serrated bread knife. That should be of some help.
My card table was placed on top of a piece of plywood on top of which I placed the foam. To mark my measurements, I used a yardstick, and to cut it, I used a very sharp fish filet knife. It was fairly easy to cut the foam with the knife.

The pad is very cushy. I can not tell you what the density measurement is, but I was able to make dining room chair pads with the purchase. Rattan seats in your life need pads over them if they are worn. It is a very comfortable padding. I am happy with it. That should be of some help.

While I would have loved to rate this a 5 star rating since the foam was perfectly fine for what I was using it for, I returned one of the two I ordered and was only refunded half of what I paid. It is simply a "Stocking Fee" which, I feel, is a pretty expensive one, since they only refunded $50 out of the $95 worth. What a ridiculous statement! Foam in the package had never been opened and was still in its original packaging, so it hadn't In any case, buyer beware! Only purchase what you'll be keeping, and only when you absolutely need it! It was my hope to reach out to the company so they could make this right, but I never heard back.
bought this foam padding originally to make a pillow for my cat and dog beds, but it didn't go over well with them. Their dislike may be due to the foam not being fluffy enough for them to burrow into, so their burrowing broke up the foam. The foam that I was using was too stiff for a comfy pillow, and I agreed with my pets that it could not be used for a seat cushion. I had started to think I would just have to trash the foam and lose the money I had spent on it, but then I noticed my couch cushions had a tear in them. It is a habit that we have to smash the couch cushions down when we are sitting down, and as a result, they were getting really flat and were losing most of their original shape. In just a few minutes, I had my foam cut to fit in the pillow cases, it stuffed perfectly and you couldn't tell them were there. The foam fit into the pillow cases with no problem, and you can't even tell they are We can now tell that our couch cushions look as good as they did when we first bought it. There is more structure and some support with the foam as well as a cushion on the left without the foam. In the picture on the right we see the cushion with the foam added, and the cushion on the left is without. These two cushions can easily be distinguished from each other. I don't think I'll need to replace the foam in the next few years since it looks and feels like it is made of a good material. The foam I purchased was more than enough for me to fill two couch cushions, and the price for the quality and quantity was good. I would purchase this foam again if I needed to fill any other pillows in the future.
While my sofa fabric is good, the cushions were in a bad state. Following some research, I purchased this foam for the purpose of extending the life of my sofa a little bit. In my opinion, the instructions found on another site were right regarding rounding up measurements to the nearest whole inch (since the foam becomes I cut the foam to the right size with a box cutter so I think it will last for quite a while. I am optimistic that it will last for quite some time. Initially it wasn't a smooth edge, but once it's put in the cushion pouches it doesn't make a difference. As for getting the old sofa cushion covers into the new covers, that can prove to be a bit tricky as well. There is a job that's much easier if you have two people instead of just one (though you can get everything done with just one if you sit on the cushions long ways to slightly squash the foam, then alternately pull up the fabric).
Our couch cushions were worn out, so we used this product to replace them. Our first impression of the product is very positive, it did not odor and it was easy to cut to size. So far, we have been very pleased with its performance.
My old cushions have been thrown away, and I have replaced them with this FOAMMA, but I kept the above-mentioned cushions as well The extra support I mentioned in the inserts has made my loveseat even more comfortable than when it was new, which has given my back a tremendous amount of relief!.
I like the length of this. In addition to being on chemo, I am on this foam 24/7, specially since I came down with this virus. It has wood slats in the place where it reclines, making it more comfortable to sit on. It's the only reason I'm able to sleep at night. Despite the fact that I am no feather, this pad has not lost its density. I like this foam pad a lot. When I am able to afford it, I will buy another for extra comfort! 10) Highly recommended.
