This does not bode well. To buy upholstery grade high density foam, you need to buy a high density foam of upholstery grade. If you're not sure of the specs for a commercial high density foam, check with a staff upholstery person. In reality, this Millard is a commercial medium density, despite the description posted by Millard
Foam comes in thicknesses of two inches, four inches, or five inches according to Amazon.
You can, of course. Upholstery foam is what you see here. The firmness you want is determined by your needs. If you use two layers, you may need to do so
Although I do not know, it appears to be a great quality upholstery foam.

There is enough cushioning to be supportive and thick, yet not too thick that it makes reclining uncomfortable. The dining chair seat cushions I bought were a great purchase, I am very happy with them! As you can see in the picture, there is a two-inch cushion with As you can see, the white seat in the picture is worn out and tattered.
First time I ordered it, it came neatly rolled up and packaged. It had the right size for chair cushions. I ordered it again about a month later. The second roll came folded up and vacuum sealed, and the folds turned into creases as they dried. It has about half the thickness of the first order due to the same compression. There is nothing acceptable about how this happened. I am unable to comprehend how anyone could think this would be My next purchase of this kind of foam will be from a local store, probably for a higher price than this fluke package. Whether the fluke package was intended or not, it made for a very unhappy customer.
This couch is 10 years old and sagging cushions have made several of the spots where we like to sit saggy from so much use. We were able to get that firm seating we had when we first purchased this sectional with this foam in those saggy spaces. Thank you so much for your kind words. I am very pleased with my.
To reinforce sad outdoor furniture seats, cut a piece of foam. It worked like a charm. Now that the seat cushions have been firmed up, they provide good support. With one piece, I had enough fabric to make 3 cushions. Photo shows original cushion on the right and a new one on the left. My cushion already had foam in it, so I just added that to it. It is a brilliant idea.
It's taking a while for them to get back to their original thickness of 7". There was no need to replace - It worked great to add a layer of 2" thick foam to make them look like new! It was easy to remove the old foam, place one on top of the new one as a cutting guide, then put both old and new foam back into the cushion fabric, and woo! It's almost like the day it was It was only three weeks ago, so I don't know how it's going to hold up yet, so I gave it three stars. To be honest, I'd suggest giving it a middle of the road rating, but let's hope that it's a good one.
I didn't want to pay the high prices I found at the stores, so I thought I should try to buy the foam on Amazon. I've read tons of reviews (some are It was finally time for me to try out the Millard foam. It was relatively cheap, and it was fulfilled via Amazon, which made me think it would be worth it. This is the high density 4x24x72 that I ordered. He had told me he would deliver it a day earlier than he did. The smell of some of the foam people have purchased from other sellers has been mentioned a lot in reviews. As soon as you opened the package, you noticed that there was a pleasant smell. However, that soon faded. I was pleased to find that the foam flattened out almost right away and that the firmness met my expectations. Thank you so much for your patience while I shopped for the Millard foam. I am very happy with my purchase!.
4" of foam was sent back last week, so this was a replacement. You may not be able to see it in the picture, but this was four days ago, I couldn't return it again because it was too much work. It was a disappointment for me. There is no way that this will spring back to life, as I was going to use it for a bench. It also worked perfectly with the 6' foam I received last week. Unfortunately, the 4" foam didn't work for me.
Used it to prop up some of the cushions on our couch that were starting to sag. Because I was not willing to spend a lot of money, I knew that the quality would be lower than I expected. It was, however, rather pleasant to discover. I cut the plastic packaging after receiving it and it fluffed up immediately. I was able to accomplish what I needed with it. Put the foam under the necessary points after cutting it into pieces. Probably next time I will get a thicker foam, but for now I am satisfied with it.
