It is a low density polyester boning that is extremely easy to sew, specially created to give shape and support to garments and suits

This boning can be used for a variety of applications, including corsets, nursing caps, wedding dresses, gowns, fashion accessories, swimwear, hats, handbags, plush toys, and more.

Questions & Answers

It comes with plastic inside the box. Is this included? It's my first time working with boning, so I wasn't sure what to expect?

Basically, the plastic boning is not covered by any fabric.

Can this be washed in the machine?

The boning would be used in corsets and nursing caps, so I would assume that it can be cleaned. She would wash her nursing caps by hand, lean them to dry on a line, and starch them before ironing them. I am not sure if the newer boning is any better.

The transparent material still seems pretty stiff despite being easily viewed through
