I would definitely say yes to this because it's pretty durable. You can support it as long as the fabric doesn't weigh too much.

A 1/4 inch

There is a thin layer of plastic around a quarter inch thick. In sewing, boning is made out of this kind of plastic.

Could this be used as a replacement for underwire in a bra cup or corset?

I was wondering if you could lend me the insert. It's The shape of the bra cup will not be as you want it to be.

90 each. You can get the exact same thing at Walmart for $6. 85 each. There are a few exceptions here it is considerably less expensive. It's a good boning for most apparel applications, as it's flexible enough to bend with the body, yet rather rigid so that, for example, a strapless bodice can be supported. Although the scaffolding may not be ideal for scaffolding, I was able to make a useful farthingale with double While that might sound far-fetched, given the price and quality of such services, this might not be unreasonable Today, instead of using one roll of the metal hoop available for use years ago, it's cheaper and more sturdy to use two rolls of plastic boning.

There is no continuous roll of paper

As far as I can tell, it is not a 12yd continuous roll, but I was able to complete my project with it. The one I got came in two pieces, one about two yards long and the other about ten yards long. Advertising for it should be done in this way.

Until now, I have not put this product to use. Due to the fact that I sew a lot, I order things in advance I think I'll need. The boning I needed for a wedding dress I was making was nowhere to be found. The white one I'm keeping around just to make sure I don't go without it if I order this one. I think this product will be more flexible than other boning products, which is what I can tell from the description.
