Questions & Answers
The extra large eyelets have an outside diameter of 1 inch and an inside diameter of 1/2 inch.
It's very simple. It comes with a tool for inserting each half of the eyelet. I used a pencil to rub the tool's sharp side and cut a small piece of material from the circle I had marked. After that, I slid the part through the material's hole. I joined the two pieces with a hammer and tapped it together.
In the description, it states that there are ten sets. It comes as a set with the front and back pieces.
When I used these, I did so with that in mind. There were two layers of cotton fabric, and they worked fine; the fit was good and tight. I hope this information is useful.

HINT: To make the hole for the grommet's center, you'll need your own device. The size of the hole in the package is not specified. I began with a small nail hole and enlarged it with sharp scissors. Make the hole slightly smaller than you think it should be so the material is snug when you press the grommet through.
I got these to go with some custom-made jewelry. I designed and made embroidered microfiber sport towels. The idea appeared to be straightforward. The instructions were simple enough, but as other reviewers pointed out, the little teeth never grabbed the fabric. It wobbled a little when I put it on the anvil. It just didn't seem to fit. Regardless, I continued to pound away at the keyboard. I tried it with a warped outer ring, but it still came apart. The results were always poor without some sort of stabilizer. Even DH threw his hands up in the air. "Cheap stuff," he said. " It might work better on some materials than others, but I'm skeptical because it didn't work on such a thin fabric. Dritz, a long-standing company, has let me down, and be aware that the "brass" version is actually a very shiny gold.
Please keep in mind that, while the quality of the rivets is excellent, this kit does not include the tool necessary to install them, and Amazon does not appear to sell the kit separately, so make sure you get the one that includes the Anvil.
When it came to adding rope handles to fabric baskets, this was exactly what was required. We put a small block of wood underneath the punch and it worked perfectly. br>Because one of ours was missing, we only had nine sets instead of ten.
Because one of mine was missing a piece, I had enough for nine. According to the package, there are ten items. It's not something I'd return if I didn't have a project waiting for me here. I'm just annoyed that for some reason, I never seem to get enough of anything, and I'm always shorted. It appears to have worked in all other respects. There was some puckering in the fabric.
You'll need a sturdy surface to work on this, as well as a strong arm and hammer.
These are sturdy and go together well. I'd buy from you again!.
Good but overpriced; you can get the same quality for less money by ordering grommets from other brands that sell in bulk.
