The fan is not one of my favorites
3/5

My sewing experience is over 50 years old, but I am new to embroidery. It was always a Singer machine for me, so I know how to thread, clean, etc. In any case, Singers are no longer manufactured in the same way they once were. It has been four months since I purchased the machine. My first impression was that I loved it. I liked how big the hoop was. I used it primarily for embroidery and about 3-D projects. Approximately 4-weeks ago, birds started nesting using embroidery thread and then decided not to accept embroidery thread any more. Then we cleaned it and repainted it I started a thread, and I I replaced the bobbin case (free from Singer), cleaned it real well and it worked for a week or two. The problem is the same. A brother was purchased in exchange for the old one. A Brother machine is generally more widely used and can be easily repaired by a service place, whereas an Apple machine can be easily replaced. I was disappointed by Singer's support site and there are no sewing part websites that even list this model. Plus, this Singer is not widely used and its support page is disorganized.

The machine I purchased is not as good as I was hoping
3/5

I wanted an embroidery area of at least 6x10, and this had that. You can use it immediately after you get it. A sleek design. I like it. Finally, I managed to embroider a design and at the very moment, the motor overload message appeared. It took me a long time to create the design. Snowflakes were built in as part of the My next attempt was to name the character. It sent a motor overload message twice. The needles are easy to break and Got through a whole package in a short period of time. It appears that the thread is bundled under the This is not a good machine. Black and white screen and no indication of where it is going to start. In addition to not knowing which color to begin with, you will also not know which color to switch to when it's time for thread changes without printing out the designs in color. If it doesn’t work well, then it isn't a good deal even though it was inexpensive based on the size embroidery area. Originally I used Singer all the time, then I switched to Brother, then to It is a pleasure to own a Brother and a There is no difference in terms of user-friendliness between them. It has taken a long time for Singer to regain their former I find this a shame because it would have made an excellent embroidery machine. It looks terrific. The item had to be returned, so I am sorry for the inconvenience.

This is a bad machine with a terrible warranty
3/5

THERE IS ONLY A 90 DAY WARRANTY ON THIS! THE METAL CHASSIS IS THE ONLY PART THAT IS LIMITED TO 25 YEARS. There are only 19 service centers in the whole country, and you are responsible for shipping! This machine has only been in my possession for a few months (and I have only used it about 7 times) and the motor keeps saying it Sewing on THIN material is difficult for me, since I cannot sew for any longer than 30 seconds at a time. It is my first Singer purchase and it will be my last one, except for the serger I bought two months ago but have not Nevertheless, I'm about to try it as soon as I get home to ensure that it works because if they don't give warranties on machines that cost 800 dollars, I'm sure they don't give them on machines that cost 150 dollars. I had such a bad I plan to purchase a Janome machine next. It is better to pay the same and get a warranty of one year!.

There is no value in this
3/5

As I watched the video's for how to use the embroidery machine several times, I was sure I was doing it properly because my machine would turn on fine but wouldn't move from one place to another. There was a bunching in the thread. There is a problem with the bobbin. were several defects with the machine. It may have been damaged during shipping as I have always purchased Singer products and have never had such a problem. There is a 4x4 embroidery & printing machine at our facility Having owned 5x7 embroidery machines since 2002, I have never had an issue. The company needs to resolve the problems with this machine as soon as possible.

is a dreary waste of time! It's hard to believe Singer has bad customer service! It appears the usb stick that came with the software program is dead

A few times I have called to see if I can get another USB but to no avail! There will not be a singer on the next machine.

Would not have bought this machine if I had known better
3/5

My experience with the embroidery portion of this machine has been completely frustrating. If I could return it, I would. The computer has been in for warranty repairs twice, and now the repair shop has determined it isn't malfunctioning mechanically. My phone number does not work for There has been "a problem" with the phone system for the past two weeks. I have sent four emails, but they have not responded. If you only plan to sew and use the fonts and embroidery designs provided with the machine, then it is a great machine. The machine sews nicely, but when I began to use embroidery apps from purchased downloads from other sites, it was a nightmare!
Do not waste your time if you plan to download designs elsewhere! In accordance with the recommendation, I downloaded the complementary software. My machine has been set up with stabilizers and needles as suggested in the manual. In addition to stitching thread and needles, I have tried other stabilizers, needles, bobbins and thread recommended by other embroiderers. Having a good time is hit or.

Trying out sewing for the first time
3/5

It's a well-known brand. I've had my Brother X2600 for over 13 years now and it works fine. I got my new machine on Amazon for a good price compared to buying it in a store. The only problem I had when I got it was that there was a small peg holding up the dog feet that had broken, and the feet would not move. By the end of the day, I had fixed For someone who is experienced with sewing and embroidery, I think this would be a good project. Even though I should have sent the machine back when I received it because it was broken, I was in a hurry. In addition, I am not too fond of the threading mechanism. Has a tendency to become tangled.

It is important that you get a new machine if you value your sanity
3/5

I am becoming increasingly insane using this machine. This embroidery machine has some major thread breakage issues the thread breaks and clogs the thread path, causing future threads to break and showing the bobbin thread on the top of the embroideries. As far back as I can remember, I have had this problem. This machine has been in the shop multiple times for the thread path to be cleaned out. Exactly one week ago, I visited. In less than an hour since the last fix, the thread path is already clogged again. There is a flaw in the machine's design, so it shouldn't be purchased. While I love my other Singers, this one isn't as good as the rest.
