It fits true to size, but you must be cautious. Reduce the size of your sizer to the smallest possible size while still being able to shimmy it off your finger. It should fit once you've found the right size, but it shouldn't be easy to put on. I imagine that many people stop at a larger size than they require because the sizer is made of thin, lightweight plastic that stays in place more easily. When a ring is too big, it will move around and turn on your finger. It took three tries on my fiance to get him to wear a size 10, but we finally got there. It was the perfect fit when his ring arrived! We used paper sizers that you print out, and they said he was 11-inch tall. I'm glad we bought this sizer and put it through its paces a few more times during the day. If you use it correctly, this sizer will work. Once you've found the size you believe is correct, remove it from the sizing ring and try it on for a day to see how it feels. Don't rush the process because you'll be wearing your ring for the rest of your life.

I've heard that using these DIY ring sizers is a bad idea and that you should instead go to a professional jeweler, but my experiences with jewelers sizing my fingers haven't been as positive as using this sizer. My engagement ring from Jared was sized incorrectly and is too large, and another ring I own from Kay Jewelers was also incorrectly sized. This ring sizer helped me buy a new ring online, and it's the first ring I've ever owned that fits perfectly on the first try.

The rings are made of plastic with precise sizing. I checked the sizing on a ring mandrel and it's correct; I chose this less expensive set because the price was right and there were too many reviews mentioning inaccurate sizing for metal ring sets. I don't often size my fingers for rings, so this set is ideal for me.

Because he works out on a regular basis, hubby requested a rubber ring. I didn't know what size he needed, so I bought this instead, and it works perfectly. By comparing it to my own size 4, I was able to determine its accuracy. The sizer and the 5 finger were a perfect match. I'm not sure we'll use it again unless we gain weight, but it's nice to have, and if anyone we know needs it, I'll probably just give it to them.

Not only were the ring size markings ridiculously illegible, but there was no guide to decipher them, and our best guess effort resulted in the purchase of not one, but two rings (one for my wife and one for me) that were a size too small. I had to rush to Walmart the night before my Zoom pandemic wedding to get a ring. This is without a doubt the worst purchase I've made since March 2020, when I was duped into buying a UPS that only needed new batteries. Yes, I'm prone to making blunders. One of them was this particular instance. The marriage hasn't worked out so far.
