Let me begin by emphasizing how much I prefer Perler Beads that are divided into separate sections, such as this one. I began with the 11,000-piece bucket, and I must say that going through it and picking out the colors you want one by one is a tedious process. That, in my opinion, is a significant benefit of purchasing this set. br>br>On the other hand, a potential disadvantage is that each color has only 250 beads, with the exception of white and black, which have 500. I don't think this will be a big deal for most people because I doubt most of these colors will be used as much as the colors in the "Fun Color Perler Bead Tray. I was going insane trying to label them, and I couldn't figure out why the supposed colors didn't match the replacement colors I ordered. It turns out that when I bought the tropical set, the description of the individual colors was incorrect. The tropical set's true/official colors are as follows: Flamingo, Sherbet, Orchid, Apricot, Spice, Fern, Teal, Robin's Egg, Mist, Olive, Midnight, Lagoon, Toasted Marshmallow, Fawn, Pewter, and Tomatobr>br>These colors were confirmed on the Perler website and with a few replacement colors that lined up with that website. br>br>.
I'm going to give these five stars just because they kept my kids quiet for several hours during their summer vacation. I'm not a huge perler bead collector, so I can't really compare these to others, but I bought three different trays of them, and they're all bright and melt easily. They don't come with the special perler bead ironing paper, but we used parchment paper and it worked fine. These are top-of-the-line name-brand beads. When craft stores have sales, you can get these packs for a lower price. I would only recommend purchasing them if you are unable to find them in other colors. The beads will be mailed to you by most craft stores, with free shipping on certain days.

This is fantastic! We used to buy the big buckets of beads because they were cheaper, but sorting and finding what we needed took forever. These pre-made meals are a hit with my kids. Now is the time to sort the packs.
