Questions & Answers

What are the names of the colors that have been included?

Update from December 2016 - I'm not sure if Perler switches out the colors in these bins on a regular basis, or if some of the lists below were incorrect. I purchased individual colors from local craft stores this week, based on the lists provided below, and then purchased the large jug from Amazon. I went through a large bowl and sorted everything. Tonight I was completely engrossed in the beads, and I was able to collect 30 distinct colors. br>Here's what I came up with as far as colors go: br>Pastel Yellowbr>Light Bluebr>Dark Bluebr>Turquoisebr>Toothpastebr>Parrot Greenbr>Dark Greenbr>Kiwi Limebr>Pastel Greenbr>Purplebr>Plumbr>Pastel Lavenderbr>Greybr>Whitebr>Blackbr>Clearbr>Plumbr>Plum My bucket, on the other hand, contained Dark Green and Pastel Yellow. br>According to the Perler website (at the time of writing). Green/Bright Green (Item 041500P) is shown as the same color. I bought a bag of this at a craft store, and it's a different shade of green than the green in the bucket. The bucket's green matches a bag of Dark Green paint I bought at a local craft store. br>I need to compare the yellow beads that came in the bucket to the yellow beads that are sold in the store, but based on what I've seen online. The yellow beads in the bucket aren't bright enough to be true yellow; instead, they resemble pastel yellow. br>One thing to keep in mind: The neon colors appear to be exclusive to the buckets and are not available separately.

Is there a peg board and paper included with this?

There are no peg boards, so you'll have to rely solely on paper.

Why isn't there any orange in this bucket? It's such a common and essential color =(?

In this bucket, there are numerous shades of orange. Any color can be found, and all colors come in a variety of shades. It's an excellent investment.

Is it possible for me to see the perler beads?

I have no idea what the exact weight is, but if I had to guess, the 22,000 bead container would weigh around 3 1/2 pounds.

There is a wide range of colors

This thing took me SO LONG to sort! I spent a lot of time sorting while watching TV. lolbr>br>This jar contains a wide range of colors. Officially, there are 30, but I also received a small quantity of three additional colors. I figured I'd include one because it's been difficult for me to find a consistent list of the specific color names throughout these reviews. Thank you so much
5/5

I hope your lighting is adequate! To be clear, I don't mean to offend anyone. For the amount and variety of beads you get, this is a fantastic deal. They're first-class, not second-class, and if you're familiar with Perler beads, there will be no surprises. What you pay for is exactly what you get. br>Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I'd like to add: There is no need for 22000 beads. Really. 22000 beads is too many unless you run a business selling Perler bead crafts or a summer camp craft barn. I say this with a wry grin because I've spent a couple of hours sorting beads by color, and each section has a good number of each color bead (as others have said, 30 colors), more than enough for my kids to get started on projects, and the jar still looks like I never opened it. br>You intend to purchase them. You'll think I'm making things up. I'm aware of this because I experienced it myself. When you open your shipping box, make sure you have a good sense of humor, a glass of wine, and a bright overhead light. Unless you require specific colors, Perler beads are no longer required.

Both children and adults will have a great time with this game
5/5

We bought these beads for our "only homemade xmas ornaments" project, which turned out to be a huge success, and we even had friends wanting to make some as well! br>br>How many colors are there? We began by looking up pictures of bead projects on the internet. We completed so many that my neck began to hurt, haha! br>br>I wish I had bought a pre-owned vehicle. Because we spent the majority of our time making these looking for the right colors, we sorted them. ALSO, BUY EXTRA BLACK BEADS IF YOU'RE STARTING A PERLER BEAD PROJECT! We had to switch to brown after we ran out of black because the majority of the designs we looked at required it, and we had to stop all of our creations because we ran out of black. Michael's only carries black beads, but if I'd known, I would have ordered some from Amazon instead. br>br>However, the outcomes are self-evident! Good luck and have fun with your creations!.

ONLY THE BEADS ARE INCLUDED, NOT THE PEGBOARDS - UPSET
3/5

The Large Bucket with Perler Beads was just delivered to me. We hurriedly placed our order, assuming that the illustrations in the ads and the cover were the only designs that this kit could produce. To put it another way, we assumed the pegboards were part of the package. There are no pegboards, much to our surprise. The pictures of the finished animals, in my opinion, are deceiving and could lead to confusion. We should have gone over the reviews and questions more thoroughly. I believe the seller should make it clear that these are just the beads. We're not going to be able to work with this. This will have to be ordered separately and will incur additional shipping costs.

Two of them were purchased by me
5/5

This is an excellent purchase, but there are two things I want people to be aware of. If you want to organize these, keep in mind that sorting them into different colors will take HOURS. There is no such thing as a "true" orange color. There's a bright orange and a Cheddar that's more yellow than orange in my opinion. br>br>However, no other package will give you this many beads for this low a price. Because the lids screw on and off, the containers are extremely durable and resealable. I always have a good color mix (not a majority of one color or anything like that). And, unlike other brands, Perler's melting temperature is consistent across all colors of beads (a problem I've experienced with others).

30 colors for a great price! This is the best price on pearler beads you'll find anywhere
5/5

If you want a lot of one color, sorting them out can be a pain, but the price difference is worth it. There are 30 colors in total, divided into three "groups": standard colors, neons, and translucents. My only gripe is that there is no such thing as a "true" orange. There are two yellow/orange colors that are very similar (which I'm calling Gold and dark yellow), but neither is a bold orange. br>Standard Colors (Red, gold, yellow, green, cornflower blue, indigo, purple, brown, light brown, tan, light grey, black, white)br>Neons (raspberry, fuchsia, tangerine, coral, dark yellow, lime green, seafoam green, teal, turquoise, sky blue, orchid purple, lavender)br>Translucents (Pink, orange, yellow The Translucents are neon-free as well.

The use of blacklight Additionally, there are reactive beads
5/5

The container has a wide range of colors, including a few blacklight-friendly options. Beads that react to light (photo attached). Please note that these are not glow-in-the-dark items. the- Under blacklight, it is dark and just glows. Finding the individual colors you need for large jobs can be a pain, but the price is unbeatable.
