Looking at the sweeping mechanism I'm tempted to say "yes it would", but I can not be 100% sure without trying it out. The plastic beads are pulled and knocked into the container by what appear to be several rubber "sweepers." I hope you find this information useful.
Yes, the biggie beads are also picked up by it.
To be honest, it does not always pick up the beads. The rubber flaps lose their grip on the beads from time to time and roll over them. I don't have a pet, but I can say that no dirt got into the roller the few times I used it, and even if it did, it was very easy to clean.
Yes! It's "better" on wood floors, but it'll work on carpet as well! This is the most useful little bead cleaning tool!

It'd be perfect for a jewelry maker!.
He works with Perler Beads, which are small loom bands. Legos. It's fantastic, but my feet always seem to find them, making vacuuming a chore. This was something I noticed. It appeared to be a scam. WHERE HAVE THESE LITTLE BEAUTYS BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE? He wipes it wherever he's been working in a matter of seconds. It collects all the stray pieces that he might have missed. It catches every single one of them! It's also effective on beads. I've crawled around on my hands so many times that I've lost count. I'm down on my knees looking for beads that I've misplaced. No more! You HAVE to try this wonderful, low-cost invention if you have little doo dads who get away from you! It's already proven to be priceless in this town.
(Just so you know, I use pine pellet style litter - It would most likely pick up clay type litter, but only the larger chunks, not the dust. ) It works perfectly! It's a lot faster (and cleaner) than picking it up piece by piece by hand. (Oh, and they're great for picking up perler beads as well. ) That's exactly what I've done with it at my library.
This product did not disappoint me; it made cleaning up a breeze. I went right back online after trying this bead sweeper and ordered another just in case.
I knew it would be a hit with my kids, and they'd actually use it to clean up the zillions of Perler beads that end up all over the table and floor whenever they make something. It's very simple to use and does an excellent job of sweeping up the beads. My main issue now is that they are fighting over who gets to use it.
So, just a few quick back and forths over whatever floor area you dropped your beads on, even seed beads round 11/0 (which is the smallest I've dropped so far), and VOILA! Beads are now contained in a single, manageable location, rather than dancing between the bottoms of every foot that considers walking in the vicinity and every inconvenient floor surface available.
It 100% is easier to pick them up on your own . This was a complete squander of funds. Picking up all of the small beads seemed like a good idea at the time, but it just didn't work out. Instead of sweeping the beads inside, it shoots them all over the place (despite the fact that it was rolled in the right direction). The back lid, which opens to empty the beads, is extremely difficult to open and close. As a result, as you wrestle it open, beads fall out of the front part, making this the most inconvenient purchase I've made in a long time. enough to merit a re-evaluation This is a complete waste of money.
