Questions & Answers

Is it possible to see the pegboards?

They are, indeed.

Is there a color scheme for the peeler beads? Is it possible that they've all been mixed together?

They're all in the same color scheme.

What is the total number of tweezers?

Two tweezers are included in the box.

Is the tray full of beads already?

They are! They'll need to be emptied into each tray because they're in small bags, but the colors are separated. I've only had mine for a few days. I'm quite taken aback!

This is a great place to start if you want to start a fuse bead collection
4/5

This is a great way to start your fuse bead collection! It provides everything you require without causing a significant financial strain! Two sets of tweezers, four square boards that connect, two circle boards, and ironing paper are among the many color options. If you're looking for a gift for a child or want to start your own fuse bead collection, I would highly recommend this product. br>br>Please remember that, despite the drawbacks I've mentioned, it is well worth the money. Because I make a lot of fuse bead projects, these items are mostly used on a weekly basis. I put a lot of effort into my boards, and I was not let down. If you bought everything separately, on sale with coupons, you'd easily spend twice as much, if not more, than the cost of this box. Believe me when I say that I spent a few hours comparing prices between the various major retailers in the area. br>br>My thoughts on this product are as follows:br>1. The box is low-cost, but it holds a lot of promise! I really wanted to keep the box because it can hold a lot of beads, and a good bead box can be pricey. Your beads will get mixed up if you take them out of the bags or flip the box in any way by accident. br>SOLUTION: if you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the I removed all of the beads (while they were still bagged) and used a hot glue gun to seal each compartment by lining the top and bottom of each plastic splitter. The bottoms of the beads are sealed with hot glue to prevent them from mixing. Before closing the box, I sandwich a piece of card stock between each layer. When the compartments are full, the card stock simply assists me in keeping everything in its proper place as I move the box around. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br When heating your beads on these boards, use extreme caution. The boards are a fraction of the thickness of Perler boards. If you do not evenly heat the boards and allow them to cool between uses, they will warp. If the beads are heated too quickly, they will begin to pull up from the bottom, forming tiny strands. There's no need to be concerned if you've only used one color in that area. However, if you use more than one color, the strands of the different colors melt together, resulting in a pile of skittle puke. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. Once ironed, the standard colors are not compatible with regular Perler beads. If you mix the beads, keep in mind that once they've been ironed, they'll be different shades. White, black, red, yellow, lime green, light blue, pink, forest green, and purple are just a few of the colors available.

The quality is extremely poor
3/5

I don't usually leave reviews for things I buy on Amazon. This is the first time I've written a review, and this product prompted me to do so. I bought this for my daughter's birthday as a complement to her current Perler beads because it has a glow-in-the-dark feature and extra bases for different designs. The beads aren't all the same size. They are not evenly spaced when lined up. The designs have a warped plastic base. One was warped when it arrived, and a couple of others were warped after only a few uses. The glow-in-the-dark feature isn't working. I considered adding photos to the mix, but it wasn't worth the time or effort. I have a few days left to return them, which I will do. Please buy original Perler beads, as a few people have suggested, and as I second. I don't mind spending money as long as I get a good return on my investment. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my message.

For a wide range of colors, this is the best deal
4/5

This is an excellent fuse/perler bead starter set. For Christmas, my son and I made ornaments, coasters, and Mario/Pokémon figures/magnets for him to play with. Advantages: br>br> I actually like the box, though it must be handled with caution. When a bin is low on space, the side walls slide up and down to create "double" or "triple" compartments. The tweezers are of decent quality. br> It's nice because you usually have to purchase these separately from Perler. br>It comes in a wide range of colors to match most existing sets. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. If you want to make people, it is lacking a small number of "important" colors. A "natural" set of beads or a bag of 1,000 sand, butterscotch, and white beads are both good options. You might also want to buy a 6,000-count bag of black beads separately. The fact that the user who created Boba Fett mentioned that the clear peg holders warp was greatly appreciated. The first time you use them, they will bow slightly. The hot beads must be removed from the peg boards as soon as possible after cooking, or the peg boards will be melted. br>br>Overall, this collection receives a rating of three to four stars. I gave it four stars because I purchased two sets for the additional storage and bead value.

The beads are fantastic
4/5

With the case, exercise caution! The beads are fantastic, and they will keep you entertained for hours! It also allows children to be truly imaginative in terms of how they wish to create their unique design. The only criticism I have is that the carrying case is flimsy, which is why I gave it four stars. The third row has a habit of popping off, which is a royal pain in the backside because it contains 10,000 beads. I went to Micheals and bought a new case, which works perfectly, but I shouldn't have had to spend the extra money.

SO FUN
5/5

For the fun factor and the value, I'm giving it a five-star rating. Meh in terms of quality. Never tried it before, but it was a lot of fun for the whole family, and you can get really creative with it. There are a few minor inconsistencies with the beads, but nothing to worry about. Except for the iron, this kit has everything you'll need. The only problem is that the grids provided aren't designed to withstand excessive heat. Before the beads were fully fused, I literally melted a hole in one. When heating, keep a heavy book nearby to place on top of your piece and keep it flat, as the grids will warp. I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but it doesn't matter to me. For a fun family night, $40 was a good deal, and we'll be able to use it for a few more. I will most certainly purchase again.

NOT the Perler brand, as they are flimsy and difficult to iron together
3/5

This is NOT the Perler brand, which is fine in most cases, but the pegs are too far apart to easily fuse the beads together. In addition, the containers are dreadful. The sides can be removed to create more compartments, but they slide out so easily that the beads spill out or mix. We've only been here for 24 hours, and it's been a nightmare. I'm not sure what Perler's secret is for spacing and plastic melting temperature, but it's cheaper than this set; you just have to buy it separately. I'm not sure what Perler's secret is for spacing and plastic melting temperature, but it's cheaper than this set.
