This ice maker is one of my favorites. It makes ice so quickly that we can't keep up with it, even though there are six of us using it; you can hear the fan and definitely hear the ice drop, so if you prefer complete silence, you may be annoyed. This isn't a problem for me, and I'm sure it's the same for all of these ice makers. My only minor gripe is that the ice melts into sad little wet cubes because we can't use it quickly enough. I didn't deduct any stars because it wasn't the ice maker's fault; however, I was annoyed to find the box had been sitting upside down for several hours; the unit contains refrigerant, and being upside down for such a long period of time could harm it. Also, the box is clearly marked to be kept upright, so this, in my opinion, demonstrates a lack of care on the part of the driver.

Noise isn't as bad as you might think. The water intake, refrigeration, and fresh ice drop in the basket can all be heard from the next room. (I live in a one-bedroom apartment. ) br>It's a fast machine, and the small bullet cubes are my favorite feature. This recipe serves 12 people. Each cycle produces 14 cubes and takes about 6 minutes. About four people can fit in the basket. Before the auto stop feature kicks in, you'll have to go through 5 cycles.

It's very easy to use, plug it in, fill it with water, turn it on, choose an ice size, and you're done! I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, but it was within my price range. So far, I haven't had any issues. Make sure the sensors aren't obstructed (ice can obstruct them, and a poorly installed tray can also obstruct them) so you don't get a full message when they aren't.

This icemaker on the counter is fantastic. Although it produces ice quickly, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING TAP WATER IN THE MACHINE. Only bottled water was used in my house.

I mainly wanted it so I wouldn't have to worry about overfilling or forgetting to refill the ice trays. When you forget you have an ice maker, it's loud and a little scary, but it's not something that goes off ALL NIGHT, just once in a while. It'll be a great addition to your summer wardrobe. You can choose between making small or large cubes. The small ones, I believe, remain large. Guys, have fun with it:.

So, I didn't realize that this ice maker required the user to either transfer the ice to their freezer or the ice cubes to their freezer - As you can see in the photo, they're quite small. br>Once I realized that icemaking would require my involvement, I understood that I got what I paid for and that it is acceptable for our use. br>There is an option for a smaller size, but given how quickly they melt, I opted to make the larger size. Because our RV has no counter space and our exterior compartments aren't very tall, this will most likely be stored in the bottom of our shower or on top of the covered two-burner stove while we're on the road. We're content with the limitations.

A few years ago I came across a tiny ice machine, but we didn't use a lot of ice when we were at home because it was made by making 12 cubes in about 7 minutes, and because you see, those cubes fill up fast, and ice is also great for drinks.
