The high-temperature light is turned on in my freezer. I'm not sure how I'm going to get this sorted out. The freezer isn't too full, it's not open, and it's plugged in. ?

Is this the first time you've seen this freezer? To get to zero degrees, it takes at least a day. If it's not brand new and just turned on, try turning it off for a few minutes, maybe five, and then turning it back on to see if it turns on again. If it does, it's best to contact GE to see if it's still under warranty, and if it isn't, a local service company that specializes in GE freezers.

Is the freezer garage up to the task? I live in the Chicago suburbs. ?

Right now, it's in my garage. I've only had the freezer for a few months, so I haven't had the opportunity to put it through a winter. Despite the fact that the garage isn't heated, I don't expect any issues.

Could you please tell me the width of this?

It is supposed to arrive this week, but I have not yet received it. I did go to GE and get the specs printed out. It should be 32X28X62" as per the specifications. I'll have to wait until it arrives to see how accurate that is. I hope you find this information useful.

Was there a significant increase in the cost of your electricity?

Electricity costs are estimated to be around $58 per year based on the energy savings rating. I use a specific outlet for it.

We placed an order for this freezer, which took several weeks to arrive, and the alarm is still going off. We contacted the manufacturer, who informed us that it would have to be replaced. It has been sitting in my house for two months because the seller has not picked it up. This seller, as well as any other Amazon third-party seller, should be avoided.

Great freezer, but dreadful delivery service! So far, everything has gone well! It makes a vacuuming sound after you close the door, which is apparently to tighten the seal
