The thing didn't make any sound at all. I assumed I'd have to spend a lot of money on a replacement. I did some research and discovered that this was most likely all that was required. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it out because of Amazon's easy return policy. br>br>In my opinion, the claims of a 5-minute installation are exaggerated. It was only 2 minutes long! I've included a video to demonstrate how ridiculously simple it is. Because it pops out so easily, you don't even need the tool shown in the video; any metal spatula will suffice! If you can plug in a USB thumb drive, you've got all the skills you'll need. br>br>It fixed my freezer right away. It was humming perfectly when I plugged it back in, as if nothing had ever gone wrong. It amazes me that a single temperature controller can make the entire freezer as silent as a grave, but all's well that ends well!.
You should most likely do so. I used my thumb and index finger to grab the old one. I just yanked it out of the air. When I inserted the new one, it turned on right away! The issue began when the power was turned off during a storm. After turning on my standby generator for a few hours, I noticed that everything in the freezer was starting to thaw the next day. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I'm hoping it doesn't happen too frequently.
I can't say enough about how this EASY to install control module helped me repair my freezer and breathe new life into it for a fraction of the repair cost. The previous one had become unresponsive. Simply turn off the power and pop out the old one and replace it with a clean putty knife (any flat thin metal will suffice). All you have to do now is turn the power on. At least $275 was demanded by the appliance repair services. For a little more than $60, I was able to repair it myself in less than 30 seconds. It's that simple. I was completely new to the situation.
A power surge caused our freezer to stop working. I ordered this part after watching a video on YouTube that suggested it could be the problem. It arrived the next day, and all I had to do was put it in the same spot as the old one. It's very simple! My husband and son were both impressed that I was able to repair the freezer without having to call an appliance repairman.
It was ready to install for my customer and was a breeze to do so. I like Amazon's prices because they allow me to pass on the savings to my customers. The delivery was lightning fast; I ordered one morning and had it installed the next afternoon. This was a lot less expensive than the wholesale price I could get from my local supplier! Both the installer and the customer are overjoyed!.
The door alarm wouldn't turn off, and the interior light wouldn't turn on. Even though it seemed to be working, the food thawed out. To the touch, the outside of the freezer was extremely warm. br>It's very simple to replace; simply remove it, swap the single connector, and replace it. br>March 2020 - br>March 2020 - br>March 2020 - The unit is no longer operational. The freezer is beeping and displaying L 6,7,8 (should only go from 1 to 5) on the display. The side of the freezer is hot, so I suspect it's in defrost mode when it shouldn't be.
It was delivered the next day after we placed our order. It couldn't be any easier to remove the old one and replace it. We were able to save money as well as food. Thank you a lot!.
My Board was killed by a power surge, Cap In my freezer, I have thermal protection. This board fixed the fried issue, but now I'm stuck with a door ajar alarm. I'm considering returning it because of that issue. I'm an HVAC Mecanic who's been certified. The doorknob is in good working order.
