Selected User Reviews For Thrustmaster TS XW Servo Base (XBOX Series X/S, XOne & Windows)
I purchased a TX brand new over the last 14 months, and it was defective right out of the box. It was replaced with a new one. That one worked and was fantastic until it stopped working on Xbox just a few months after the one-year mark. After I grudgingly submitted a ticket because I could never get a live person on the phone, Thrustmaster support took more than a week to respond. They were of no assistance before declaring it out of warranty (by two months). They had no intention of making things right. br>br>Because I'd spent over $1000 on wheels, shifters, pedals, hubs, and e-bikes at this point, I didn't have much of a choice. Because of the brakes, I went against my better judgment and purchased a new TS- XW, and surprise, surprise. . . it's also defective right out of the box. In Dirt Rally 2, the wheel loses center calibration and becomes super notchy when turning left before you can even finish a race. Clearly, quality control (and, based on my interactions with support, customer service) are not a priority for Thrustmaster. When the GameStop employee told me they get these back all the time when I brought that first TX in, I should have learned my lesson. Fortunately, Amazon is providing a quick replacement, but I have lost faith in Thrustmaster products and will likely sell this and the rest of my gear to fund something from Fanatec while also warning everyone I know to avoid Thrustmaster products. As a point of comparison, I have a ten-year-old Logitech Driving Force GT that still works perfectly.
When I plugged in the base, it began to auto-calibrate, then locked up, made a pop, and some smoke came out the right-hand vent, which was extremely disappointing.
XW base, and you'll notice right away that my inputs are strong and fast. br>br>he echoes the switch from TX to TS-base. XW, and the first thing that comes to mind is the power and speed with which my inputs are processed.
The build quality and durability have exceeded my expectations. It's simple to use and well-designed. Don't waste your time and money on the T300 and all of its overheating problems; instead, go with the TS-X. In every way, XW is a superior foundation that simply works.
This is a fantastic foundation! Without a doubt, this is a top-tier belt-driven wheel. The force feedback is extremely detailed, allowing you to sense even the tiniest details that you might miss with a lower-resolution display. wheels at the very end If you're looking for a new wheel and are already a member of the thrustmaster community, I can't recommend this wheel base highly enough! You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.
I can't imagine needing anything else with such a nice wheelbase.
This is the item that you have. Save your money; it'll be well worth it. I'm able to feel the chassis for the first time in a very long time. It's a colossal creature!.
I bought one right out of the box and it had a power supply issue, so I returned it and got another one hooked up. It worked fine for about an hour before it started making button inputs every time I steered the wheel.
