Yes, the TMX can be installed on a hard drive. Ricmotech is a company that specializes in the development of new technologies. A hard mount plate is included with the com. Look it up on the internet. I've got mine permanently attached to my rig, and it's fantastic.
The pedals are, in fact, included in the package. They are relatively light in weight, with only the brake and accelerator included; no clutch is included. However, if you have the three-pedal set, this controller will work with it.

I purchased it along with the wheel stand pro last week. With Forza 7 and Horizon 3, I use exclusively on Xbox One X. Horizon 4 looks promising. If you plan to use both games in the same way, I recommend lowering the steering radius in both games from 900 to 360 in the advanced menu settings. Prior to doing so, I was less than enthusiastic about the massive dead zone, which caused me to almost regret purchasing. It was a stupid mistake on my part to overlook the fact that these devices require adjustments in order to function properly. It will take about 10 seconds in the menu to change the 900 turn radius to 360, and then you will be finished. After a few days of adjusting from control pad to wheel, I was fully acclimated and have shaved much time off of my previous fastest laps with the gamepad(xbox elite). I play with all assists off and driver AI on the second most difficult setting. It's just a matter of relearning how to brake and turn with the wheel, and then it'll be all fun.
The problem is that the force feedback has completely stopped working, and Thrustmaster tech support has proven to be HORRIBLE. The good news is that it's 2019, and we've got Amazon! It's easier to just get a refund than to spend hours trying to figure out the Byzantine troubleshooting that the snarky tech support guy emails you. Life is far too short, and it's unfortunate that some businesses fail to consider how well their products are supported. br>br>As a result, we've decided to ditch Thrustmaster (for good) in favor of the G920.
I've been a long-time Forza fan and a big fan of racing games. I chose the TMX over the Logitech for a few reasons after years of listening to the Logitech vs Thrustmaster debate. When I'm ready to learn to clutch, I'll get pro pedals, and then a shifter when I'm ready to shift without using my hands. Outside of arcades like LA Rush and Cruisin USA/World, I've never purchased or used a wheel. The wheel is of excellent quality, and despite the fact that it appears to be made of cheap plastic, it does not bend or flex under the strain of intense track action as you "swat flies. " "Learning to use a wheel requires an understanding of what feels good to you. This is the wheel to get if you want to get into sim racing on a budget or just for the immersion. Your chair and stand will be more expensive, but this wheel will serve you well until you decide to upgrade. Before writing this review, I had easily clocked in 100 hours and had played a variety of PC games, including: I tried out iRacing, PCARS2, Wreckfest before and after the major PC update, Dirt Rally, NASCAR Heat 4, and even Forza Horizon 4 on the Xbox One. Simply plug it in and go. You won't be able to find a better wheel for less than $250. I'm a first-time home buyer who also uses a wheelchair. I hope you enjoy this experience as much as I do because it has changed the way I play games. This is exactly the kind of change I enjoy! The image I used does not accurately depict the self-built rig into which I inserted my wheel. Those pedals must be secured in some way; otherwise, they will move. I'm no longer sitting at that glass table. To get the most out of your car, secure the steering wheel and pedals.
I had the Xbox 360's force feedback Microsoft Wheel and wanted something similar for the Xbox One without spending $300-$400. $400. The Xbox One version of this works flawlessly right out of the box. I've only played Dirt Rally so far, but I'm hooked, and it makes the games so much more enjoyable. The wheel is extremely comfortable to use, and the force feedback is far superior to that of my previous generation. knowledge and experience I also bought "The Ultimate Steering Wheel Racing Game Stand," which I like. I'm not sure why other force feedback wheels are so much more expensive, but this wheel is ideal for my family and me. I'm not a big racing sim fan, but I really like how this wheel feels and how it allows me to immerse myself in the experience. Dirt Rally is a fantastic Xbox One game, and having a wheel is a must; in fact, this wheel is all I require.
Shifting with the paddles is fantastic. I've been playing race simulators for quite some time, but this is my first wheel. I have an Xbox One and am using it with Forza 7, so the most recent version of the game is compatible with this wheel. If you have an uncarpeted floor, simply clean the pads and the floor, and you're good to go. br>br>The paddle shifts are fantastic, and the force feedback adds to the overall experience. Small adjustments to your race line can be made by switching from the hand controller to this wheel. It was so frustrating to want to make a minor correction to load your line from the right side of the road to the left or the other way around, but you'd have to make a jerky move that would slow you down, or you'd have to try to run the inside line and either brake too much or go off. br>br>It's just so much better now. The feedback isn't quite as smooth as a car's, but then again, what is? However, I would purchase this one again and again. br>br>Easy to set up and take down; can be used to enter and exit the game as well as navigate within it. This is incredible. br>br>The only thing I'd change is the length of the USB cable, because my xBox isn't directly in front of me. I'm going to see what happens if I use a USB extension.
