I'm on a PC, so I can't comment on consoles, but this thing just plugged in and started playing Forza in seconds. There are no drivers and the installation process is cumbersome. It recognizes it as an Xbox controller, and depending on which key it detects, the game will switch to keyboard or Xbox prompts. The on-screen controls will change as you move your mouse or drive with WASD. The screen returns to the qwerty keyboard. It's fairly responsive, but there's a 5 degree dead zone near the center. For the price, there's nothing to complain about, and the pedals are also quite good. They provide just enough resistance to make it feel like you're driving a real automobile. The vibrations add a lot to the immersion. It feels like you're driving through the countryside. The control panel of life. I haven't tried any of the more expensive sets, but I believe this one exceeded my expectations as a starter.
On flat surfaces, the clamps they included provided steering wheel stability. It is a hit with my son! "It's a lot of fun!" he says, describing the game as "realistic. " This is something I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a steering wheel and pedals set for driving games on the Xbox One S console. Definitely a good investment!.
It's a great wheel right out of the box, but it was extremely sensitive on my PS4 until I connected it to my PC and ran a calibration on it. Now it's perfect; just don't turn the wheel too hard unless you want to do donuts in your game. Aside from that, the button mapping is fantastic. With a little programming, I was able to set it up in F1 mode, with the gas and brake paddles behind the wheel. You can figure out the programming by just reading the instruction manual.
My son attempted to assemble it but gave up. It worked perfectly until I put it together, and it will fit on any steering wheel stand.
This is a lot of fun for my kids. We secured it to a table to add to the realism.
This is ideal for switching. It's as if you're driving rather than controlling your car with buttons in the game. It's very simple to work with. It adds to the enjoyment of playing games. Playstation is also supported.
They're never racing again without a steering wheel! It took a little while to figure out how to adjust the sensitivity and get the settings right, but once they did, they were able to play for hours. I know there are more expensive ones on the market, but these are definitely top shelf in my book!.
It's cheaply made, and something loose inside rattles when I turn the steering wheel. It doesn't move or vibrate in any way. Despite the fact that it is listed as a feature, it is not at all. This product has disappointed me in the end, and the only reason I haven't returned it is because I don't want to box it up and ship it back in the hopes of getting my money back. Big waste.
