The master slider is present, but the chat vs slider is not. Having fun. I haven't had any issues with this headset, it is a great deal. I have never used one without that feature.
Can the controller be connected to the Xbox one via the headphone jack? I think it will work if that is the case.

It's gonna be short and sweet today. Considering the fact that it is a standalone headset, where it is recommended that you plug it directly into the controller, I agree with some of the negative reviews that the sound is way too low at maximum volume. FPS games, especially, are a deal breaker for me because I won't get fps without it. The best I can do is give it 3 stars.
Now I've been using this headset with the Astro Mix Amp Pro, and boy does that really unlock the headset's true potential. It also allows you to increase the volume for game and voice chat. The sound is much louder and fuller when using this amp. In fact, I understand that these are budget headsets, so adding the mixamp to this would make it about $150. However, I think it's well worth the effort. This is an amazing place to stay. I use this headset daily for basketball and it has no clamping force on the ear or crown of my head, which allows me to play for hours without discomfort. I've only had it for a few days, so I can't speak to the longevity for sure. After the months have passed, I will update this review to see how the product does. I have been extremely impressed so far, and I look forward to maintaining this setup for a long time to come.
A question was asked about whether this applies to computers. The headset is compatible, however, it only has 1 output jack, which most computers require to receive audio, and most of them have separate inputs for headphones and microphones. In the end, the product does not perform.
On the PS4, alone, there are a wide range of offerings for every budget and every need. In fact, the original Stinger headset was one of the first I had ever used and I was always a fan, so when I saw they made a PS4-specific version, I bought it immediately. In addition to great stinger comfort, quality audio, and a clutch flip to mute function, it also has a great stinger design. At first glance, you might be thinking, "why bother?" since the PS4 version appears to be pretty much the same as the original? This is where you can see that the impedance level of these have been lowered from the original 32 to 30, which helps to make it easier to go fully powered from You could probably connect this bad boy to a potato and get excellent sound, but I'd suggest sticking with your PS4 controller or, if you have one, connecting your amp of choice even though it doesn't really need one. For 50$, this is a great buy!.
In terms of TB Stealth V2, they sounded great, but I found it very tight and returned it. We were then shown the wireless HyperX for $175. It performed exactly the same as the wired system, but it was much cheaper. Although the wireless has more bells and whistles with the push to mute and some sound tweaks (the red/green LED mic was nice), it didn't sound much different and was as comfortable as the wired one. Go with this if you want to save some money. In addition, the wireless is all plastic, which means the arms will break sooner or later. It is made of metal, so hopefully it will last. Considering my head size, I would say it's just ok when it comes to comfort, but I'd say that for most headsets as well. Having played for about 2 hours a day, it seems to be fine for that usage, but it could be rough if you're up for more than 4 hours. You may have to adjust the size of the pillow depending on your head size. When I wear glasses with it, it doesn't put them in my head. As a result, you should be good. As for the TB set, there are 'slots' for glasses, but I found that totally useless since they are already so tight. Although I'm still looking for a better set, I'm not in a rush as these do the job just fine with solid 360 audio.
Flipping up the microphone to muffle it is truly the best feature. My husband doesn't have to dig through settings anymore to muffle it so we can talk. They are very quiet when he is not talking, and they cancel ALL noise when he is not talking. The sound quality is good, and the volume can actually be turned up really loud and still sound perfect. These headphones are really great!.
They are a great buy for the money. I can hear more details when I use these over my older headset, and they sound really clear while gaming. They picked up my voice clearly (according to friends), and they don't seem to pick up a lot of background noise, which is important to me since my previous headset was very sensitive. I also had no idea how thin they were, and how comfortable they are to wear. do a pretty good job when it comes to listening to music. A good amount of bass is present in the track. In summary, the sound quality of this headset makes it well worth the price. I dislike the cable on this headset. There is a lot of flimsiness and it is likely to rip or tear over time, particularly at the top where it connects to the ear cup. As the bending and use of the device continues, I imagine that it will tear from that point and expose the inner wires. I think the cable length is fine since other headsets seem to have excessively long cables. As of late 2019 (so it looks like), this headset is a new HyperX product. As I researched other headsets within this price range before purchasing this one, I found the Philips VR7700 a good option. Due to the fact that it was relatively new, there were not a lot of reviews, so I felt like I was taking a chance (since I definitely saw a return on my investment. For this price, this is a fantastic gaming headset, especially if it is your first.
