The circuit board is visible, but it is completely black. The faceplate is transparent to the maximum extent possible.
It's covered in a soft matte finish. It's silky smooth and doesn't have a rubbery feel to it. It has the texture of a very fine plastic. Although it has a soft texture, it is a hard shell that will replace your controller's cover.
There is no shadow orange available at the moment.
They don't, as far as I'm aware.

The Xbox One X controller's faceplate replacement is snugly fitted. This mod reduces the controller's weight (with batteries) from 278 grams to 274 grams. br>br>I can't find any seams or fitment issues. br>br> The weight of an Xbox One X controller is 278 grams if you're an American who struggles to understand metric units. A slightly lighter Xbox One X controller weighs 274 grams. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude. br>br>Weighing the faceplates alone reduces the weight from 40 to 36 grams. br>br>The orange screwdriver that came with the kit was a Torx screwdriver that fit the included screws but not the stock controller's original torx screws. The stock screws were removed with a flathead screwdriver. The spudger that came with the kit did a fantastic job. Note: I noticed that some other reviewers said the screwdriver worked for them. It is possible that your results will differ. On one side of the controller, the color fade does not line up perfectly. Please see the photos that are attached. It's a minor quibble, but given that this is less than a third of the cost of a new controller, I believe it's appropriate to bring it up. There are no air bubbles in the paint, and the plastic is extremely durable. On Series X, it's not the low-cost stuff. Here's everything you need to know about it. The pry that comes with the package is extremely flimsy. I used a screwdriver with a flat head. Just be careful when it comes to wedging. It's simple to make a faceplate. The buttons are difficult to press, and if you're a beginner like me, it will take a long time. Don't get too worked up if your perfectly good thumbstick sticks after disassembly. If you reassemble it the same way I did, it should work. The one s controller is easier to unscrew than the Xbox series x and one x controllers. The bottom screw holes on those controllers are awkward. This isn't a race, so take a break if you start to lose patience. Make no attempt to focus on anything. Trying to pry the backing off, I managed to scuff one of the controllers. Out of the three consoles I tested, the Xbox Series X was the most difficult to remove. All of the buttons were perfectly aligned, exactly how the manufacturer intended. If yours doesn't, it's faulty; I've completed three controllers with no problems, and the end result is well worth the effort. This isn't as simple as some claim, but it's also not as difficult as some claim; it's somewhere in the middle, depending on the changes you make. Button are difficult because you have to rebuild your controller from the ground up. The faceplate, thumbstick, and dpad are all rather basic. Prying the pieces loose is the most difficult part. I really like it. In photos, it appears to be a little gritty and textured, but it's actually quite smooth. I like it, but if you prefer textured grips, this is too smooth and slippery for you. The color shine is true to photo and super iridescent, so it's well worth the money. The seller provided youtube videos on how to disassemble controllers and install these plates, making the removal of the panels appear simple. I was afraid I'd snap the plastic, but the side panels snap in, making it sound crackly when you remove it. I adore how it fits like a glove. If you're worried about the texture, getting the faceplate only version they sell could be a good idea. I appreciate the small screwdriver and set of screws; I used the original screws, but it's nice to have extras on hand. Also, there was no sticker on the inside, behind the battery, as shown in the instructional video. I had a sticker over it, but if you slice a small hole where the screw is, it dents in and gives way, so you don't have to peel everything off to get to the middle screw. To get to the screw, simply poke a hole and snip a small piece out.
In the end, I kept this one for myself, but it didn't fit my Xbox One Standard Controller, so I had to make do with the side panels. I'll get a controller that fits later, but for now, I'm going to enjoy my side panels! br>However, it turned out BEAUTIFULLY! Maybe it was meant to be! I'm starting to like it a lot!.
This shell is in excellent condition. It is well-made and appealing. There are no flaws in the product, it fits perfectly, and it is simple to put together. The translucent green color, in particular, has a nice, smooth finish. Not too smooth, mind you, but just right. The black dashboard,'start,' and'select' buttons contrast beautifully with the green color on my black controller. I've got it on my white controller now, and while the black buttons go better with the green, it still looks nice. br>br>• A white Xbox One S controller with a translucent green shell is shown.
If you enjoy the look of wood, I strongly suggest this case. The case has a fantastic matte finish. It has a pleasant feel to it in your hands. Many people have commented on how nice it looks, and when they feel it, they want to know where I got it. The button hold was nearly perfect; all I had to do was slightly open up the x hole to get the perfect fit. Aside from that, it was excellent and simple to set up. br>br>Overall, I strongly suggest this.
