This was one of the more recent color schemes for an Xbox controller at the time of this writing. I was so taken with the design that I ordered it from Amazon. I had to return the product and request a refund because of defects and other issues with three different orders. br>br>After receiving my first controller, I spent the day playing games with it. When I pressed down on the left thumb stick, the back of the left side of the controller began to pull apart slightly. Despite my dissatisfaction with this, I continued to play. The right bumper button on top of the controller sank into the case after the second day of use and refused to spring back up. I couldn't get the button unstuck because I couldn't pull it out. The spring mechanism has most likely failed. I assumed it was a one-time occurrence and asked Amazon to send me a replacement. br>br>The process of returning the item was simple. The controller, however, was lost in the mail and never delivered during its journey to my address. This was the second time it had happened. Because this was a delivery carrier issue rather than a product issue, I contacted Amazon, who instead of offering a replacement, refunded my money. br>br>I decided to give this item another chance and placed a new order for it. I carefully examined it when it arrived to see if it had the same flaws as the previous item. Everything seemed to be in order until I tried it out. When I pressed the right trigger button while playing games with my friends, I heard a loud scraping squeak. My friends could hear the squeak through my microphone because it was so loud. I had to return the sound because it was so irritating. This was my third strike, so I sent the item back for a refund. If you're looking for a Bluetooth Xbox controller, I strongly advise you to skip this one. The quality control was shoddy at best. Customers have had other problems with the controller, according to Amazon reviews. I'll be on the lookout for a new Xbox controller with higher ratings.
I really like how the controller looks and feels. had a few issues (which I was able to resolve! ) right out of the gate. br>br>First and foremost, the batteries that came with it are incompatible. For some reason, they kept falling out of place. It required the installation of a rechargeable battery pack. Second, it wouldn't connect to the Xbox and wouldn't vibrate. I discovered that the controller's software needs to be updated under the settings tab. During the update, you must keep it connected to your Xbox. br>br>It now works perfectly! If I run into any more problems, I'll post an update.
I'm sure the controller is in good working order underneath. During shipping, the box was damaged. This irritates me a lot as a collector. They shipped it in an evelope, so I assume that's what happened. It would have been better if it had come in a box. This item was brand new when I purchased it. It was supposed to be kept sealed and on display. However, the broken box puts an end to that fantasy. I was extremely dissatisfied with the manner in which it was delivered to me. The item is fantastic in and of itself. I really like how the baby blue and the blue mix together. Rubber grips are a must-have feature, and this controller complements my other sports controllers nicely. I only wish the box hadn't been tampered with.
Does everything you'd expect a controller to do, and does it in style! This controller replaced a wired Microsoft Liquid Metal controller, and the quality difference is night and day. br>br>When the Liquid Metal controller vibrates, rattles, and buzzes excessively. This controller silently transmits all vibrations into your hands, as expected. br>br>Excellent work. br>br>Only gripe is that there's no way to tell if it's charged when using it on a PC. The battery status is displayed in the Microsoft Game Bar (Windows 10) when you press WIN G, but the battery charge value does not change - My charge level was still "critical" after 24 hours. ”. I spent $15 on a charge stand that includes a rechargeable battery pack as well as an LED indicator of my charge status. For $25, you can get a battery pack as well as a charging cable with an LED. You'd think that for a $50 controller, they'd include a charging cable for the LEDs.
It appears to be in good condition, but I haven't used it long enough to know if it has been harmed in any way by the smashed packaging it came in. I'm not sure what you're talking about. My last remote began acting up after falling from my hands while seated on plush carpet. These are way overpriced and become unusable so easily that one would think the packaging would be a bit more protective. These shouldn't be so fragile, and they should cost about a third of what they do now. The blue, on the other hand, is perfectly acceptable. The rubberized grip has always been a favorite of mine. The rest of the story about these remotes is known to you.
The controller is in perfect working order, but the box has been damaged on the inside as well. The controller had not been harmed in any way. I also read in a review that the box had been damaged by someone. Please keep this in mind.
The rechargeable battery pack I have won't charge; however, when I put it into another controller, it charges fine. The menu button won't recognize its being pressed for a few minutes after being turned on. This is the third Xbox One controller I've had problems with so far this year. It appears that the construction quality is subpar. Except for these systems, I've never had a problem with a controller before.
It's nice, but it's a little too expensive. Because the one I wanted was unavailable, I had no choice but to purchase this one. This is the third controller I've bought in the last few years, and they don't seem to last. The sticks, which are the weak point, should be made stronger. Only a small portion of the grip is covered by the rubber coating, which is disappointing. As usual, I'll have to go out and buy aftermarket grips. If you have a choice, choose the less expensive option. Designer colors and intricate designs cannot make up for a lack of functionality.
